I honestly can't believe this one came back to life. I won this 2011 Land Rover Range Rover Sport from IAA for $2500 and it had a blown head gasket. Today we finish up the SUV and get it listed on Copart for sale!

You have to put actual coolant that’s compatible with range rovers so the float in the coolant reservoir moves, water will not move the float

You new here? Water is free, Range Rover coolant is expensive. This is a guy that just put in the incorrect sized battery from Wal Mart because that's how he rolls. Isn't the coolant system full of some snake oil anyway to 'cure' a bad head gasket?

The Range Rover most likely had a bad coolant crossover pipe. The ones from the factory were junk. They redesigned the replacement. It leaked, ran low on coolant, and cooked the head gasket. Says low coolant because they have a specific burping process for putting in coolant after running low. Also, we must use the specific coolant called for by the manufacturer. Putting in a cheap battery is going to play havoc with all the electronics down the road. It was not fixed by the sanke oil. The next owner is about to get screwed. The problems are still there, just masked for a short period. Love your videos, but as a Land Rover owner, I was super disappointed knowing what someone is going to end up with. They are very expensive to repair if not maintained properly. Would have loved to see it done right.

I like your vids Randy honestly. But to be fair giving some blue devil instead of fixing it properly and people are surprised why range rovers are unrelaible. Well this is why. The other thing the brake discs and pads it was visible on this vid that when you were slowing down before you parked on your lot the steering wheel was shaking your hand significantly.

@@icepop54367 But the spare tire he removed was put in the rear hatch? Since I don't know whether or not the rear hatch won't open, I'll keep my thoughts about him being to lazy to put the spare back where it belongs, under the cargo panel, rather than just tossed in the back to myself. Even if the hatch doesn't open, the seats would fold down to become a cargo area.

Love the older models I have a 2008 Land Rover LR2 SE sport runs and drives amazing everything works got low miles . Everything is cheap on it so far no engine light no codes at all loving the car.

Was kind of hoping to see more content on this car. I was hoping youd fix more on it. The bluedevil doesnt bother me at all, ive used it. I wouldve liked to see the radio fixed, the lights off the dash, along with some of the warning messages. Normally im impressed with what you fix on cars, you normally get the small things. Well done Randy. I wouldn't have put expensive parts in it and done a 100 percent perfect repair either. It's now a starting, running, driving Range Rover and that's probably already more than can be said about any others at Copart. If it has a very cheap reserve, there's no way anyone can expect a perfect vehicle for that money. For a few thousand, you take your chances. If a buyer wants to do a head gasket check before they buy, good for them. Any cheap car on the lot could have had head sealer in it. That's just the way it goes when you get no warranty. Soccer moms who need reliable transport are not going to be buying their vehicles there. It's pot luck guys like you and mechanics who want them for parts.

The Range Rover is the best i have been following you since you got it. Actually it was not that bad when you got it you almost mess it up by the way you was trying to fix it. But is good you got it running now. The thing about Range Rovers is that it required Deep Diagnosis if you are not a range rover repairer that know what is wrong it. Only diagnosis can help you if you know cars but you do not know where to start. You do not start pouring stuff into the engine like you did you was messing it up. i have the same year and the same engine you are working on even tho is not supper charge is still v8 and powerful the coolant warning is just that the coolant thank is old and the reader the thing that read how much coolant is in the thank has fail by fall down in the thank the only fix is replacing the coolant thank the warning will go away. so who ever buy it is a lucky person is really good but you have to know how to maintain it or have a good repairer that knows about range. Thank you it was a great series

Randy saved the Range Rover heading to scrap metal. The car drives fine without any issues. If you want to buy a perfect 2011 Range Rover it would cost $6-15K. Randy is not scamming people when he is selling it for thousands of dollars less than the book value. Blue Devil can save cars and can be driven for a long time.
