Yeah, that's the problem. Owners of these things don't generally maintain them well outside of warranty (because they are expensive to do so), so by the time they've gotten to this state, they're usually in sorry shape. While there can be occasional quality issues with JLR products, the poor reliability reputation comes mainly from tons of deferred maintenance. Do the necessary preventative maintenance, and they will treat you well.

Very very lucky the air suspension ent bad I had a rangerover P38 obviously much older but on air suspension it was so problematic so I changed to springs at a big cost

I had a 2012 Range Rover supercharged, I sold it with 67k miles and it was the biggest head ache of my life. I sent 10k in engine repairs before I sold it. I’ll never buy one again. I got a cls 63 as a replacement

The rear seat remote doesn't have the battery, that's in the little bag. That's why it doesn't stay on when you're not pushing down on it. When the lid is closed, it pushes down and charges the battery. When it's open, it props the remote up so you easily take it out.

I bought a 2011 RR 5.0 V8 Supercharged with 115,000 mi back in February of 2022. In about 8 months of owning this real SUV I have been having a blast . Everything works and no problems so far. It is a luxurious tank that can go anywhere off roading. It has tons of power and it is fast! Drove almost everywhere in a off roading recreational park with street tires and did not get stuck a single time.

The mantainances costs are way thru the roof on these things.. I know since my Pa use to own about 10 years a Disco 3 HSE - V8 (G4 edition from 2008).. it was a nice all-round very capable SUV but all bills were high for that SUV so he end up sold it.. today a new Bronco might be better deal and much cheaper brand new for about same 4x4 capability..

I started a drone channel back in February and between work, family, my volunteering and my drone channel I've had to put making videos on hold for the last month. It's frustrating because I see subscribers falling off and most days I wonder if I'm good enough to do it. But I love flying, I love seeing the end product and it's really something I want to do. If it starts blowing smoke, check the supercharger first. I saved a dealership about $7000 by diagnosing it correctly. The body of that thing has to come off to remove the engine.

I own a L322 , the air shocks need to be replaced and the suspension compressor too , did that on mine too , I have the diesel twin turbo tdv8 . Have fun , once you have fixed everything , its good for the next 100k miles and 5 years .

judging by the hood and other spots it's a hail damage total. The gauges are all a screen, you're not taping over any lights on it. I don't care for the looks of it but you could probably change the layout if you had some programming skills.

Hold on to it ! It is a good 4 x 4 off roader and you might want to do a road trip to Colorado with your fiancee and play with it and check out all the functions in the mountains and meadows! You can always add a hitch and use is as you tow vehicle instead of your new Ram !
