I know this is almost three years old, but I haven't seen anyone refuting this- sooooo--- At 3:35 people are claiming that they see a skull in the dirt. (image here imgur.com/a/h9n4a ) now, yes, I as well think it /appears/ to be a skull, however, I don't believe it is in actuality. Humans are built with a shape recognizing feature built into us at birth, called pareidolia. One of the most common shapes recognized by us, and by all other species but with their species, is the face. It's very common, and there was an incredibly well done documentary on the subject viewing film from a cat's brain. (kzbin.info/www/bejne/pprcimCLqd53kNk) Now my point, while yes, from afar it does appear to be a skull, but we know that bones preserve themselves quite well, yet you can see almost feathered clumps both hanging from the "skull", and both appearing to be the skull itself. The picture seems to be quite brown, while the bones in the surrounding area are bleached white from the sun. I may be wrong, it may actually be a skull, but given how clear it is to us, it would have been absolutely 100% obvious to anyone there in person. Nobody's perfect, including chigger, but he certainly has a keen eye, and would not miss a skull inches from a shirt and other bones.

Looks like a pelvic, femur and vertebrae bones. Definitely human, and I'd say a female. I hope that you called the police and brought them to where you found the bones and blouse/jacket. You should NEVER ever take bones home with you, because you may just be disturbing their final resting place. She may have been murdered then dumped a few years ago. Please be very, very, very careful when doing these expeditions, and I wish you the best of luck in everything that you do. May God be watching over you when you're exploring the woods.

As a child in the early seventies (around 8 yrs of age) me and a couple of friends found a human skull and bones just outside our village. At that age you don't know much so we placed the skull in our 'secret' cabin and I remember that used the larger bones for sword fighting. Until one of our dads found out and everything had to be turned over to the authorities. They turned out to be the remains of a German soldier killed in ww2.

Samantha Zamorano Women and girls didn't wear shirts in colonial times. They wore what was called a shift or chemise. Over it they would then wear a corset or "stays", then over that what was called a bodice. A shift/chemise was worn all the time, it was worn all day and at night. Men wore them too though there's were not quite as long. Back in the day is was considered like underwear. Now, in Victorian times, yes, women wore blouses as they still do today, only in different styles. But a blouse is buttoned up the front and may have ruffles, tucks and pleats in it to be fitted or decorative. Beau definitely didn't find a colonial chemise in the woods. This is a shift/chemise jas-townsend.com/chemise-plain-cotton-white-p-1585.html

The first bone you found looks very much like a human scapula - located on the upper back and connected to the shoulder joint. The second looks like the large fore arm bone, the radius. I also saw what appeared to be a rib. If you are not sure, and if there are associated clothes, you should immediately stop and show authorities to the site. Finding various animal bones nearby is no surprise as predators would smell decomposition from miles away and kill any competing predators. I do enjoy your vids. From an MD in Louisiana.

489YearOldMan You're right about that being a scapula, but it's not human. It doesn't have the coracoid process or acromion that you'd find in a human scapula (the bits that connect to the clavicle). It does, however, look like it belonged to some sort of hoofy.

***** I live in the woods. :P I have tons of pets buried around the yard and most of the ground here is clay. Digging in clay is awful... I am in therapy for the "loss of interest" part.

So did I:) it was a lot of fun. I wish I could do it again. Unfortunately, I don't have any woods near me...
