The best take ive seen yet! I often see other people use straight up red, which is a look, but I think can look more like sunburn rather than the flush u get from being in the cold 😗 and I agree, the lip is very korean/chinese style, but what I like is it’s the updated version where you blur the first “base” color outside the lip line so u get more shape. The older version (which i see a lot of people do on social media in the west) involves putting concealer on your lips and just the color in the middle, but i find that it can give u this strange “pursed lip” look 😮

As someone who has fairly mild rosacea, I am actually excited for this trend! (But I totally understand other rosacea sufferers wouldn't be.) Instead of using foundation/blush on my cheeks, I use concealer on the edges of the redness. I've learned that sometimes it's just better to embrace my natural flush than to fight it.
@mothmaiden2 жыл бұрын
As someone else with rosacea, I realized it's a lot easier to even out the pink than conceal it completely. As you probably know, rosacea flush likes to splotch, and if you conceal it via the usual layers of green concealer and foundation, I find it can simply have a mottled look still peep through.

Thank you for the lesson, so interesting. I have to say the trend kind of cracks me up as those of us that live and work in a truly cold country battle this look when coming in from the cold!!
