I used to have one, I played it for years when i was a kid and I lost it D: It was a tamagotchi connection and it was purpleish pink with a yellow antenna and yellow buttons, with the beaded charm on it. I really wanna try and find it online but no luck so far. 7:59 looked kinda like this but the colour/pattern was different

This is a super late reply 😅 but did you ever find it? I'm wondering if it was possibly an Australian version V4, assuming it was in English, since you said it was a Connection? The Australian versions have beads as you mentioned rather than a keyring, so they look a lot like the Japanese version. Wish there was a more complete database of those obscure AUS Connections but hopefully you narrow it down. ☺️

i remember my first Tamagotchi was the Tamagotchi tama-town tama-go (released in 2010) it came with a Kuchipatchi figure and i was only 8 when i had it i dont have it no more because i lost it i have two now but it's a pink one (i named it jum jum) and a 2020 Pac-Man one and i named it after the orange ghost

I found your channel in lockdown and I love your videos. Also you live near-ish me in the north west with mentioning Bolton. I’ve got into collecting tamas now since a P2 has been keeping me busy. I have two from childhood at my parents house somewhere! One was definitely a dinky Dino official one and then the other I’m not sure just remember it being a cat and when it left I was devastated (it didn’t die it just packed up and left) lol even worse than dying I stg 😅

I used to have the England flag one few years back brought mine from Tesco when I went shopping with my dad, I had quite a few growing up but don't know what happened to them probably got rid of them wish I kept them all now lol only got one lol

Hey, I'm from the UK too! I collected cyberpets (not tamagotchis, like the chick pet)ever since I was like 6 and my first one was an MGA red and yellow dinosaur one which I loved and I never got rid of it but have never found it. I only have the white and red bear version of it but it doesn't work very well. it still runs but not very well. My second was the pocket puppy one which is in the shape of a white dog, third was that chick pet you showed in your loose tama box. my mum picked that one for me coz i asked her when she went out to pick one for me when they were sold in shops. I'm actually unsure as to why tamagotchis and other virtual pets like these are not sold in shops now, coz they are still very popular and new ones keep coming out, so it's not as if they are all old. I just got a new one as a new year present from my mum. i just showed it her and she ordered it from ebay i think. i love it soooo much. it's a cute, seethru purple one, very tiny version of the tamagotchi connection ones. I really want more. I agree that that pink flowery one would look better without the lime green and love all the same ones that you do! I also got my first v1 when it came out in 2004 in tesco! I got a blue and a pink and then a year later got v2 one pink with hearts and one green with little bubbles.

Royalrosewolf Royalrosewolf Yay another UK collector :D Your collection is sort of the opposite of mine; it sounds like you have lots of different virtual pets, and I only have tamagotchis. I do like the chickpet though- it's a good one! I am surprised they aren't in shops more too. I miss going shopping and looking at them on the shelf. I loved to order them at Argos, and they would bring one to the counter but you never knew which colour it was going to be :) The new purple clear one you recently got is my favourite out of all the new mini ones- I'm going to get one too! Hopefully they will one day bring out more full versions of tamagotchis in the future because they're still popular.

Many people are quite surprised they are still going. I take my purple one out and about and show people and they go on about how old they are and didn't know they were still going. I spotted it after searching for tamagotchis and showed my mum. she later bought it for me as a surprise and a couple of weeks later it arrived. She wrapped it up in christmas paper and gave it to me on wednesday night. I was so pleased and happy. I used to always get mine from a shop called bottom dollar and one called hard castle. the first pet tho was from the news agent's. both the red dino and the white bear. We also got one for my cousin who wanted one. I remember i used to buy one every week when we went out. I always looked forward to that day! Now I have to buy them all online. I wonder if you still have some for sale? I might try and see if i can get my mum and friends to buy them for me :D I now have a tamatown tamago and a tamagotchi friends, 2 v1 and 2 v2s. I also have all these yucky tamagotchi ripp offs that cost 1.99 they are the 1st ones you find when you search for tamagotchi for some reason :S They are so rubbish. they don't evolve and the slighted thing and it resets itself. they so reflect the price.

Where do you buy/sell all your tamas?!? I just recently discovered Japan You Want, but they don't have many Connection V1, which are my favorites. I did get a 1996 V1 and a 1997 V2 (actually the milky white!) The V1 arrives today! I'm so excited!

It's from Hobbycraft- they sell these ones in all kinds of sizes/depths, and they also have lots of different boxes designed for storing beads that would make perfect Tama storage :)

In Japan, they make them with a sort of button that you press to open the back, however in the UK all toys with batteries must have screws by law

Emily Granger It's one of my favourite designs too! I actually got it from Argos (it's an Argos exclusive shell) when they were released. I think you can find them on eBay for sale now and then still :)
