The jerking motion usually indicates that they are aware they are being observed. It's a move to demonstrate to nearby tarantulas that they are not, themselves, food. Drumming is the opposite for different reasons. The happy dance is similar, but is leaving a calling card for a successful hunt with silk. It reminds the spider where they caught prey, so if they plan to move their web, they have a reference point. The things you do when eyesight is not your main sense. Petko, I always love how your animals never have bald spots from urdicating hairs or any signs of stress. The enclosures you make have the right space and you're great at decorating them practically and in a way that draws the eye. It's like you went around your house and arranged your furniture based on comfort and relaxation.

I belive that whip scorpion enclousure is too dry. Him hanging out that cloose to the substrate could be an ndicator of that. His abdomen dosnt look like he is on premolt so misting everyday will probably get him to start eating again. Love your vids Petko! Cheers! ❤

I feel ya with the Versicolor. I did something similar with my A. Avic who built a vertical tunnel in her last enclosure and I found a wonderful cork bark round tube I hoped she'd use as a tunnel. she webbed behind it and has never gone in it.

Lol i was more interested how the plants are growing instead of focusing on tarantulas. Is there a chance you have the names of plants that you use in your setups?
