Congratulations! Curious as to what behavior communication you used for parents. Last year I used a daily calendar with which the kids colored at the end of the day depending on their color on the flip card chart (green, yellow…). Did you use something to communicate daily with parents concerning behavior or just communicate with them on an as needed basis?

I actually have a whole video explaining my behavior system that I will link for you! kzbin.info/www/bejne/f2G8p4aOpJWJrpo I found it best to communicate about good things (brag tags, positive phone calls home) and outside of that to only notify parents when we had a repetitive or more concerning issue. Anything that would get a child sent to the office (like violence) was handled by my principal.
