Really been going through it the past couple of days with some family issues, and on top of the usual work and classes it's been *_fun_* for sure. But this and Fl0m's video genuinely turned it around so heavy for me in that I got to forget about everything for just a bit. I'm not having breakdowns or anything that extreme so it's not like it's been necessarily life changing, but it's something that happens often enough that I'll never forget them for how many times they've made the dark times in my life the slightest bit brighter. @@guardian3599 it was pretty clear they weren't silver. A new rank gained from not having one for the lack of playing, doesn't mean anything. Those guys were still playing at a level much higher than silver. That was very obvious.

@@WutTheDeuceGaming all I’m saying is everyone was ranked silver idk whether or not people had rank decay but i know we all had to currently have a rank of silver and after the first game changes were made so it was players who had never left silver I’m not saying you’re wrong that could’ve happened but i know that i was silver not because of rank decay but because I steadily deranked from not being able to hold a higher rank going down to SE and having been there for almost a year now long before the silvercast started. Everyone was there to have fun and we didn’t get that upset that we were removed because it didn’t feel fair that we had players who have been out of silver against players who have never left silver

@@guardian3599 ranking down doesn't mean you're actually losing skill though which is why going off current rank isn't fair. They could run this better by doing those rank checks beforehand, I just think its a bit scummy for players that know they ain't silver to try and play against them in an environment like this. You might be silver, but I highly doubt you believe you are. Cuz you're not silver regardless of what the game tells you. That's one of the main problems with matchmaking in general. Rank is too weighted towards the type of teammates you get on a daily basis, it doesn't speak much to individual skill. Players that can't climb aren't equal to players that have fallen there.
