I've never been a fan of Technics equipment, maybe because of the connection to Panasonic. I do know that they made some of the best (on a dollar value) turntables in the 70's. Their SL-B1 was a remarkable unit for it's price. Matched with a good pick-up it was hard to beat. I bought my girlfriend a "system" in 1980 consisting of an Akai CSM01A cassette deck, Synergistics S-12B speakers and a Technics SA-80 receiver. We still have the speakers and receiver. That's 37 years, a testament to quality construction. Never muched liked Technics speakers though, or Pioneer, Kenwood, Sansui and Onkyo. Just not competitive with brands like AR, EPI, Genesis, Avid and Electro-Voice (for the same price). I do feel that Technics components are very underrated as they were easily as good as other mainstream manufactures of the time. They would make a really great VINTAGE system for 1970's audio and have nothing to apologize for. In fact I still use a Technics M-224 cassette deck and it functions perfectly.

I agree with you in some appreciations that you have made ... but, I believe that combining different components of different brands, according to the taste of each one obviously, we can achieve the sound that we expect "to piaccere" without spending a lot of money and with an expectation of prolonged useful life ... greetings!

Ja posiadam są dx 1050 i mam podpięte pod niego sh ge 90 Kupiłem ostatnio sh ge 70 i nie mam pojęcia jak to podłączyć razem.?z góry dziękuję za informację. Pozdrawiam

@@flyguy456thetechnicsking3 I don't own a Mcintosh, but I've heard a few being auditioned in hi-fi stores, One in particular was set up with a pair of kef's, can't remember which model but as nuch as i like this set up, it wouldn't match up in sound quality, that being said though I like the system here, It's good to see hifi other than soundbars and crappy Bluetooth speakers
