I STRONGLY relate to what you went through. My original username was emmaiscool56 (yikes) which I made when I was 8/9 YEARS OLD. I made a terrible "karoke video" and I would always get told "hey Emma I saw your video of you singing" and I'd think oh thanks! then it got terrible when I got in middle school, literally the 2nd day of school I got on the bus and some 8th grader in the back of the bus who I didn't know said "hey Emma! Hehehe." And I was like huh? And my friend said just ignore them, I was like ok. Then the next week I turned around and saw the "popular kids" and older kids who sit in the back of the bus watching my karoke video I made when I was 11 (I'm 13). I was so embarrassed and they all kept telling each other my username and I went to my channel asap and unlisted all my "childish" videos. But did the teasing stop? Haha nope! Everyday I'd get on the bus and hear "hey emmaiscool56!!" "You're my favorite youtuber emmaiscool56!" "When's your merch coming out?"

I told the principal MANY times and the main kid who was doing it got sent there about 8 times, but he didn't care no he just said "I don't care", and continued to do it and when I threatened to do it again he'd say are you gonna tell on me what are you gonna do? And here's the fun part! He lived in my neighborhood! Yay. But after several principal visits my parents decided to find out where he lived and talked to HIS parents about it. I made the mistake of posting a video where I called the bullies the c word and cussed a lot, my parents hated that I did that. This happened throughout all of 7th grade. But this year nothing has happened because 1. There's a new bus route and 2. The 8th grades who bullied me are now in 9th grade so I don't have to see them until next year. Thanks for reading

I have dyscalculia and dyslexia and it sucks. Every school I've been in just says: " Your grades are too high for us to do anything. You have to be in the bottom 10% to qualify for help." Which first off, no. That's, not a state law. Its terrible. None of the schools care, and they all just want to make money and keep a good reputation. None of the teachers want to help the students that are struggling. And there are so many things wrong with the American education system, but none of the kids notice. I hate it, and as a 'kid', no one listens to me because apparently im too young to have valid opinions and statements. Sorry about the rant. :)

I actually started doing youtube when I was 16 as well, and I actually got treated pretty nicely. I only told a few people, who were my closest friends, and they were actually really supportive. When other people found out about it, they were actually really polite and just complimented and encouraged me. I am sorry you got treated poorly though. People can be completely horrible and it sucks. No one deserves negativity for doing something like youtube. Your work is actually quite impressive and I hope you continue to enjoy doing what you do.

watching this felt oddly reassuring that I'm not alone with unique interests to everyone else, I always stuck out like a sore thumb whenever it was time for me to meet new people throughout highschool. I've been experiencing it since I was in year 4 and I'm in year 13 now and I've sort of found people who don't make me feel like an outcast but still do feel that I'm pretty weird. All of my Male Primary School Teachers Only Cared About the Smart Students And it was vice versa For the Female Teachers. I understand your struggle Soda. This year was my last year of middle school and I’m very happy about that because the middle school I went to was terrible. Like how you mentioned your school had uniforms, mine did too. It was a preppy school and my parents had to pay a lot of money for me to go there. The people at that school seemed really nice at first but they were all just gossiping backstabbers. I had only on true friend at that school and most people didn’t like her. I heard people talking about her all the time and at one point I gossiped with them. I completely regret doing that. Another thing was the teachers. They put so much pressure and work on us! And because of my ADHD it’s harder for me to learn as well as other students. The teachers obviously didn’t care about my learning disability and treated like crap, just like everyone else. I was supposed to have accommodations but that never happened. My grades started dropping and I had mental breakdowns about once or twice a week. I also have anxiety which just caused more trouble. I’m so glad I’m finally out of that school, hopefully highschool will be much better

We had the same! This is my story. I remember when I was Grade 5, I told my Best Friend a secret and is that I have a KZbin Channel. What else I told her the username. Days passes and few of my classmates started to gossip about me or it seems that they found out I had a Channel. When we were having our classes, one if my classmate said "Hey, what us your YoyTube Channel's name" and I kept quiet until my Best Friend said my Channels name and everyone heard it! Until then, they started watching my Videos and subscribing to me. The worst part is that they made me change. They said "geez she still likes mlp" "I dont want to subscribe because I dont want yo be a shining rainbow" "her videos are cringy" "I dont watch the mlp one". And then I made my channel a Vlog and Gaming and I will never post any MLP videos. I also deleted my MLP Videos and other MV (that day I didn't know you can save private the video). When I realize you can make it private, I was so stupid I will never EVER see my videos again! But the good news is... My classmates became a KZbinr but a some of them had 2, 8, 16, 23 subs. They also made cringy videos just like me! And that is how I love my Classmates (not jk) and I dont want to leave my school even though it was HELL at that moment but now I'm completely having a Nice Moment in School. (Note: My Crush became a KZbinr to because of me but has 8 subs I guess) ~~~~~

yah. i heavily agree with you soda. Highschool is kinda bad right now for me as well. I wish I could just disappear, but I can't. Counceling is never good in schools. I have clinical depression and it hasn't been going well. I do have good friends and they make videos with me, but there are also those kids who are there to make things harder. It just doesnt work well with me. It is funny to hear someone my age who is a "cool person" because they do youtube stuff complaining because people will actually listen to you. nobody will ever listen to me. keep it going.

Now I was a KZbinr back in school, and my experience was completely different! No one asked about my earnings, £0, and I’ve never seen anyone try to bully me about it. Most people even loved my channel, although my channel was even smaller than it is now. Of course, I wouldn’t be surprised if it turned out no one bullied me because they knew I would just beat them up if they did, as that did happen a few times although not because of my channel.

Yeah I get you. At my school I'd talk about uploading my videos to my KZbin channel to my friends and some annoying boys overheard and asked me about it. I could tell they were crappy, but I told them anyways. I can't remember if I told them outright what my channel was called in or not, but I probably did. Unfortunately I made a terrible mistake by doing this. They started to ask me about it or ask about a drawing or a video etc then they started to annoy me. I'm not going to call it bullying, but it was bothersome in a learning environment. It's been happening for a few years and I'm assuming they're still not going to stop. One day I found a Google+ account that had a random name. It had commented on one of my posts. It had a profile picture that was my face and the background was also me. I was astonished, not by the hate comments, but how someone got my photos when I'd never posted them. I figured out they could only be someone from my school as the background picture was taken a few weeks prior to me finding the account. But it wasn't my picture. They took a photo of me as I was working in school. They put this online. Then they released my full name on my account. I deleted it of course, but it freaked me out. As for teachers I've always had good teachers, but maybe that's because I get good grades. Or maybe It's because it's a small community.

I drew a fox with pointy feet because I thought it looked cool, I was 16. My art teacher said to not do that and draw the paws. - - I'm dyslexic too.. I don't have it as bad as my dad or sister though. I've taken writing and speech, trying to get 2 of the harder classes out of the way, and I got C's in both. I couldn't find the paperwork saying that I'm dyslexic, so I couldn't get any extra time. It's not even worth continuing community college at this point.. My step-dad keeps wanting me to go to an art school.. I don't have any motivating to do that.. ugh I don't know what to do.. The couple of teachers that hate me and I hate back have made me hate topics I would have loved. I hope people can read this and remember to love what they love and never let anyone put them off. I still love anime despite being tormented about it sometimes and I still love art even though I don't always like what I paint/draw.

Good schools over for now bc if I was getting bullied witch I kinda was I did sit in silence bc I hated my teacher and she prob didn’t care anyway bc this girl called me a bully and I was what did I ever do to you or anybody... nothing that’s what I thought then she made fun of me so I called her a bully bc she was last year she let me join the group it had all the popular kids in our class since it was elementary school or primary school and she replaced me after using me I don’t wanna see her again. So when I called her a bully she tattled on me and I tried to tell her about her last year.... THAT WAS IN THE PAST. It’s still affecting me so whyyyyyyy.
