It is the vessels of African Spirituality that contaminate it, like Bonge is saying those gifts are real but they are for the Kingdom of God in whatever way that they express themselves, those gifts are from God and those gifts are diverse but for some reason they have only been boxed to "ubungoma" by traditional healers. African spirituality has been immensely contaminated but that does not make it evil and also the limited knowledge we know about it also makes us form a skewed and biased view about African spirituality. Do not blame yourself sisi, it's part of your testimony, if all these things did not happen, what was going to be there to teach others about. It's hurts to be deceived, I was also a thwasa, that run away from 3 different gobelas , and I am here today after so much revelations from God, God is busy delivering me day by day, and I am grateful and thankful to Jesus Christ for his mercy upon me and my children. God gave me Isiah 30 verse 22 to say everytime I pray and told someone to tell me to go to drie fasting for 3 days, devil was tempting me but I was like if Jesus himself was tempted after 40 days of fasting , who am I then. God loves us.

I fear we as children of God get caught up in the world looking for what the WORLD tells us is success (social media has never made it easier for the enemy to DECEIVE, KILL, STEAL, AND DESTROY). Some people have a specific call on their lives, but that can confuse others who pridefully want a call as well. The ONLY call we all have offered to ALL of us is the redemption FREELY given by Jesus who took upon the wrath of God that WE deserved. I beg anyone watching to get in a Bible, SUBMIT yourself first and also whatever else God brings to your awareness to continue to submit and surrender to Him because ultimately, if you are not faithful in little you will not be faithful with much. I have a few questions: Do you think that if you had been reading the Bible and going to church, along with the prayer, that you still would have went down this path? And was there anyone in your life that tried to point you to God and tell you that what you were doing was wrong? Also, you speak about prosperity gospel. What helped you to recognize that it was evil? Because I feel like after coming out of African spiritualism - it would have been easy for you to just fall in the trap of the prosperity gospel as well. African Spirituality and Christianity are NOT polar opposites, they are not inclusive. You were not called to be a traditional healer, but does not make other traditional healers fake or evil. You were called for something different.
