My testimony of Jesus Christ changing my life from routine christian to true follower of Christ

When the Lord dangled my soul over hell for unconfessed sins. Constantly making excuses for my sins. Had made a covenant with sins. I cried for weeks because I thought I was okay with my salvation. When I fully repented and asked the Lord to fill me with the baptism of the Holy Ghost and Fire, he said,” I’ve been waiting for you to ask”. The next morning I was cleansed from my sins and washed in the blood of the Lamb. I know so was because I began to hate sin. My pornography fantasies was cleansed away. The Lord spoke and told me to fast and pray for sanctification so I can be made whole. . I now have a testimony that I’m living a repentant life before the Lord 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

I was saved 37 years ago.. I was also told to fast .. and because I was new I did not know any other fast than the 40 day fast so I did that.. One thing the Lord did was to give me tomato juice so I could continue to look after my Mom.. I thought he chose tomato juice because I hate it.. but I was wrong. It was because it was just tomatoes and water..I did the fast and many after it.. I can not even imagine my life now without the Lord.. thanks for your testimony.. wonder to hear..

Something said my name to me too. But I don't think it was God. I don't know who or what it was. I think if it was God, I would have to question it. A different time, with my eyes closed and laying in bed, I saw this BRIGHT light and then something whispered to me, Mathew 1:28. Wasn't sure what this mean, since there is no verse 1:28. Seems like it could have meant mathew 1-28 (as the entire book of mathew) as there seems to be 28 chapters depending on what you look at. Some seem to show 27. So that was strange. Still unsure of what to make of it.

@@g-max2810 What I heard was very soft spoken too. But I csn't help but question if what I truely heard was God's voice. Because in the moment I us heard the voice and I wasn't sure who it was. And to me if God speaks to someone I don't think they would question who it was that they heard. I think they would know instantly. Maybe I heard an angel? I don't know. I hope he gives me confirmation.

Free Bird if you want it bad enough then you will. Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Be aggressive about your desire to experience Jesus more deeply. Jeremiah 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Shanomar when he was caught up in his nightmare and he could not escape from it he fervently asked for God to deliver him out of that dream. Everything else that he had tried to do before to get out did not work. But once he cried out to God with ALL of his heart THEN the Lord came and delivered him. He can do the same for you. You just got to want it with every fiber of your being. God is looking for those who ARE HUNGRY for his presence. But he cannot if that barrier of sin is still there blocking you from hearing his voice more clearly and distinctly. Just as Shanomar thought that he was okay with God and was saved but he wasn't then you need to ask God am I REALLY okay with you Lord? I'm not saying that you are or aren't. I was the same as Shanomar. I thought I was saved in 1991 but I really didn't truly get saved until March 13, 2001, when I was so sick of who I was as a person. I truly couldn't stand my own company. But when I cried out one night for him to REALLY come into my heart and take over THEN I got truly saved. My life from that point on out has changed dramatically. It can for you too. You just got to want it bad enough.

Welcome to the family! I get my strength more from praising our Lord than anything else. On Easter Resurrection Day, while I was singing really loud and holding up a big cross on a popular street corner in Berkeley, he sent 3 beautiful white birds (Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost) to soar way up high and circle around me. I started jumping up and down, while still singing, and pointed three fingers to the sky with my other hand! I'll never forget this last Easter! I love you Jesus!!! Thank you Lord!!!

Instead just praise Jesus, who is the Father, Son, Holy Ghost because these three are one. The Holy Ghost overshadowed Mary and she conceived, now doesn't that make the Holy Ghost the Father? "Truly our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son." Notice no Holy Ghost mentioned. Now when the Apostles ask Jesus to show them the Father, he tells them he is the Father. He also explains that he is the comforter which is the Holy Ghost. Remember God who is a Spirit and by nature Holy, came in the flesh. The flesh of the Son is the manna that came down from heaven, even the Holy Ghost. My point is worship and praise Jesus who is the only God and Father, amen.

This testimony is so parallel to my experience of Jesus. I thought I was a "good" Christian, but until I asked God to forgive me for all of my sins, even the ones I thought did not matter, I did not fully receive the Holy Spirit. My desire to read the Bible became so strong! The more I read the Bible, the more truths revealed to me and the more I heard God's voice tell me what to do. God just made clear my assignments to help others. There are no small sins -- all sin puts a barrier between us and God. Also, there are no small acts, everything we do matters in a big way to bring others to God and grow the Christian family! Bring the Kingdom each day, listen to God and obey no matter how weird it may seem and watch your life change into the most amazing experience.

Fantastic testimony, Shanomar! Wow, just what i needed to hear this afternoon. I have been on fire for The Word and read and worship a couple hours per day. But my eyes were not open to how He speaks to me as they are now. I'm more on fire than ever and plan to share my testimony more. Praise Jesus! Beautiful testimony! I left a domestic violence situation and ended up homeless for over a year. I have a graduate level education from seminary no less...I lost 50 pounds from hunger. I left my million dollar house and had nowhere to go...but I cried out to God and He showed me His unconditional love at that moment. I had always believed but like you said, I was instantly baptized in the Holy Spirit. I realized my sin. I had allowed people to treat a daughter of the King like garbage my whole life. I fell on my knees and repented and sobbed. My ex stole everything I’ve worked for my entire life but it was a big lesson for me. I tried all my life to earn love from people who were incapable of giving it instead of seeking Jesus who is able to give me His unconditional love and peace. I used to be an artist at Disney before this happened and even though I have lost everything material, God gave me His purpose. I started a non profit to help heal trauma and PTSD through the Arts and help heal others like God healed me. Praise Jesus for your testimony. Praise Jesus for the baptism of the Holy Spirit!!

There are millions of testimonies online, why I chose to hear yours I cannot say -- only at the very end, when you quote revelation -- it all made sense. A year ago when I was praying fervently, asking Gd for a sign - my door opened by itself, and at that instant that same prayer popped up on my phone, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me."

Great testimony. I came across this video by accident. I was going to go by it to look for something else my spirit was craving but I gave it a chance and listen. It confirm some things I have been doing for the last few months that I felt stupid in doing. Giving money to people that appear to be homeless or down and out. I felt stupid for 2 reasons. The money I was giving was not much maybe $10 or $12 dollars that I had in my pocket. The last cash that i had at that time. And that i need every bit of cash because of my situation. I started second guessing in doing this. I felt like i was not managing my money properly anymore. But my heart was in the right place. Now i know from listening to this video it is the right thing to do even tho i am broke. Thank you for making this video. I hope and pray for you and i hope and pray for me to get closer to Jesus. People are very consume with there careers and there success in having more and more but are still unhappy. I was one of those people in fact I did become very successful at one time but was still very unhappy. Something happened to my life out if my control which took away everything that I obtain on this earth which I do not have anymore. But I feel at peace because of seeking Jesus the last 2 years. It's NEVER stupid to give food to people in need. Kevin Zadai did that for many years and the Lord blessed him very much for it. And God told him why he was prospering him, so his is another testimony of how God sees those who give to the poor. I can't remember the name of his book, but I remember reading that he always gave food to the homeless and God said He kept tab of all those sandwiches Kevin bought for them. Be encouraged. I have shared it before on another KZbin comment once before but I shortened it so much however here I will try to include all the details and not just copy paste (I typed it down and saved it in my notes app among my other weird dreams that I sometimes have). Hope this helps someone out there. This is very personal but I feel I have to. To God be the Glory. God help those in the problem of perpetual sin. I pray this in the name of Yeshua as you saved me from this help another too. ... The first time I experienced something close to a miracle was when I was young. I was in the middle of puberty and I had such terrible urges of the flesh and I did not even know what was wrong with me. I used to self pleasure a lot and at the time it did not appear to be a bad thing albeit for a little embarrassment every time I finished the act. I came to know that it was a bad habit one day in school when my peers talked about it once. They used bad names to describe it so I started feeling really bad about it. I started trying quitting and then it dawned on me that I was really not going to leave this habit that easy! This broke my heart as I also came to realize that it was also the sin of greed. I did not want to sin against God like that! I was catholic then so we prayed a lot and this bothered my conscience. One day I prayed to God for Him to genuinely help me and this time I really was sorry for my bad habbits. As you say, that must have been the very first time I repented from my heart! After that prayer immediately I went to my bed where I had hidden all my porn magazines and took them out and headed off to throw them in a fire. I didn't even think about it I just was done! So as I dropped them one by one, into the fire, the last one I threw and something flew off the smoke and out of the fire onto the ground. Apparently it was my identification card! For some reason I had put it in between the pages of the magazines and in my mind I felt like God had just given my identity a new chance! Literary saved me from the Fire! I was so ecstatic that God saw me worthy to speak to me that way! Even though somewhere in my heart I doubted a little like "aah its just the hot air that pushed the ID card up and away from the fire!" But then again I was like. WHAT ARE THE ODDS! Even so, I have bad news because as I later came to learn, I was to go on fighting a spiritual fight of demons and perpetual sin as I learnt later in life! In short, I backslid. HARD! ... I was now in University and my problem of self pleasure had become a real issue.I remember being perpetually depressed and I was always restless! One day I was alone at home and was seated on the sofa watching hymns and songs It was Easter season so that is what was airing in most of the tv stations. I remember being acutely depressed! I had no idea that this was about to be the second time that The Christ would show Himself to me again! And oh man this time! Wasn't it awesome! Me being a lover of physics since childhood, the way HE chose to manifest Himself to me MUST have been such a choice! Suddenly I felt something happen to me. The atmosphere in that room changed and I knew I was not alone. HIS presence in that room was PHYSICALLY acknowledged by my body! I knew HE was there but my Body also knew and responded as if on its own! There was NO doubt whatsoever! Him making HIS presence known to me! And the body of the creation KNEW the Creator like THAT! He started speaking to me and the means He used is even more amazing! The same way a mother can speak to its child without words and know the child's thoughts at any time, is the same way God spoke to me. It was the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me. He used a similar form but only multiple times awesome. Here is what happened. He spoke to me by using my emotions. He did not use audible words but He spoke by varying my emotions! When He wanted to say something He would "code" it in a certain way. I had no control of my emotions but He controlled them! I cannot remember how He coded them to form understandable thoughts but whatever He "coded" I understood and He made me understand. It happened fast too! Anger+Regret+Remorse=code to mean a specific thing and so on. They changed so fast and it was amazing how I understood everything! Sometimes HE spoke with so much pain and I felt it and it hurt me so bad! He was angry at the whole of mankind and amazingly it felt like HE had AAALLL the right to be ANGRY! I coasted that emotion like a wave and I had never even been to an ocean! Then at times HE spoke so matter of fact that everything came grinding to a HALT like screeching tires only this time its so fast! I even wondered how my being could keep up! Another time my mind raced fast to meet my heart because it was as if my heart had its own thoughts and my mind had its own thoughts but in some way they were all one and even though they were out of sync they rushed to meet each other! Sort of like to click together! I was in a mix of pure awe and love and fear! Eyes trickling with tears not sure of Joy or sorrow! I was on the floor from the sofa and I did not even know how I got down there! I had thoughts of HIS voice but sort of like far away. He spoke for a while and in all the length of it, I listened and was both amazed! I was actually listening to HIM! Some things He spoke to my innermost being that even my mind could not catch. He spoke to me about very personal things and some that I can remember or able to share are: "Why do you doubt me!" "I will punish sin! Men are killing each other! Men sin against me! I will get rid of this once and for all! I remember instantly thinking about a nuclear explosion after those words if they can even be called words. I honestly don't know why but that is what happened. He also said, "I forgive you" and after saying this I literally felt forgiven! At the end of it, there is one thing He said that I will never forget. Before His presence left. He said, "I have loved you. I always will." Then HE left me! I cried like a baby after that. This time, of my own will. Today I just hope and pray I will meet HIM one day. You know what, even when people were so crazy about Obama those days when He was president (First Black), I wondered what was all the fuss with this earthly things! I remember praying to God that when HE returns, I get to just come close to HIM just or even if am not worthy enough to be in heaven that I may be let to just sit at the gate. I really love Christ and I have been a mess many times! This time I don't want to mess it up! I just want to one day just touch HIS clothes even. I know its so childish coming from a grown man. But I mean it! I do .... That is my testimony, God bless each and everyone of you! Greetings from Africa!

The exact words "Read your bible" rang. It was just few months ago I had a dream in which I had missed the rapture. I am born again and I love God so much, but in that dream I missed the coming of our Lord. I remember asking him God, whyyyyyy I thought I was gonna make it? And immediately I heard his voice say "READ YOUR BIBLE",(Exactly how you said it in this video) then I woke up! I was trembling that day and wondering why? how? How do I read it. How have I not been reading it properly? Was kind of sleeping already when this video auto played on my laptop and immediately you said those words it rang a bell and I knew it's another reminder to keep reading my bible so I don't miss the mark. I had a very similar experience, I got the Holy Spirit after praying for Jesus too help me in my bedroom. Since then I’ve had multiple experiences just like this man. God works in amazing mysterious ways. Thank you Jesus for picking my wretched self. I’ve always know my heart was good but made far too many mistakes in life. Jesus is real, seek him now while you still have time to do so. Once you die you’re time is up, I am so blessed too find him and will spend the rest of my life telling people my Testimony. I love u my brother ❤️ I’m 23 yrs old CLASS A Truck Driver and I’ve been failing at everything I do (jobs and loving) and I just went thru sleep paralysis for my first time on thanksgiving 2019.. I turn my back on god when I was 18 yrs old, I met him when I was 17yrs old with a “gf” and he removed this female who parents was doing the opposite of seeking Jesus (it was hard but I had to knowledge it) and I was still going to church without her but like I said I turned my back on him after a couple months without her cause of my faith .. I’m loving on him more than ever cause he gave me knowledge not to let these things just bad “things” plow/sit on my life and especially my peaceful time which is sleep, but get back to where I was with him (peace, love,kindness) I WILL NOT LET THESE SLEEP PARALYSIS TO KEEP HAPPENING AFTER THE FIRST ONE, WHICH WAS TRAUMATIZING. I GUESS THAT WAS HIS WAY TO GET ME BACK ON PATH. Once again I love u brother and u stay BLESSED. A baby who is newly born can stumble while trying to walk the only failure is never attempting to walk again. Jesus loves you. Everyone that calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Jesus loves you so I love you too. Remember a bride does not wait for her groom she walks to him. Faith is action Jesus has already proposed and walking down the aisle is our race. Jesus wants you to focus on him by walking in his will and purpose and stand in his word. Let the spirit lead you every moment is an opportunity to be obedient. So be a doer of the word and not a hearer only. Its your move. Share your testimony pray for others and do everything the bible and spirit says.

Right now I am preaching the gospel evangelizing laying hands on the sick casting out demons having dreams and visions prophesying, writing divine poetry reaching the lost making disciples. Learning that each day we must humble ourselves, be lead of spirit be in the presence of the Lord and be like a child showing love and rejoicing in all things. Finally reading and mediating on his word. Pouring everything the lord has given me into my children and surrending my will to his plans and our purposes.

Great testimony keep spreading the word of God Jesus loves us so much.. I heard Jesus voice there was this construction site across the street from my house and Jesus told me to take the workers some water and chips I asked him how many guys were they he said 12 I started counting how many there were and it was actually 12😳😊 I was so shocked and amazed at the same thing, after I took the water and chips to them they didn’t want it but after that my friend which is a prophet texted me and said God said that all is well with you I didn’t even tell her what happened before she texted me that 🙏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾... nobody can’t tell me that God and Jesus aren’t real

Thankyou for sharing your testimony. I'm currently struggling to find my way to God. My parents raised me in a Christian home, but I drifted away from God and his teachings and committed some of the most awful sins this world could conceive. I'm fighting doubt and guilt trying to return to Him, but am not having an easy time of it. Pray for me please that I might be able to reach out and cling onto his robe for salvation and healing and that through me, i can lead my family closer to god.

So many times I've been stranded, locked out of car, no one around etc. But I would say, don't panic, pray to God he knows, stay calm and wait and sure enough He sends speedy help and there is the fun of it. Thank you, I’m on the tracks I suppose even though I’ve prayed sincerely for a Holy Spirit Baptism and guidance from him and have a real walk with Jesus every day. So far no daily walk (born again) revelation type experience. Am I blocking? What am I doing wrong as I KNOW by reading the Bible what is supposed to happen. I’ve not fasted enough perhaps but I’ve seen SO MANY born again come to Jesus moments and hardly any of them say I HAD TO FAST before the Holy Spirit showed up. If I were born again I could testify and help others. I did pray and God did change my life and gave me a second chance, I do give God the credit for that but that experience just woke me up to realize God is real and the fact I NEED GOD, God doesn’t need me, nor is he required to prove himself to me, and it makes me want to fill that God shaped hole in my soul. I AM SEEKING (and waiting on) YOU LORD!

There are lots of factors and things going on we don't perceive. You may not be doing anything wrong, but God does things in His Own Time. It may be that you need to come to an end of yourself in some area of your life before you can give Him complete freedom and control. Could be that fears, past traumas or spiritual wounds are blocking you from stepping out in faith, such that God needs to orchestrate situations and conditions to expose and remove such "heart stones." I've experienced delays and blocks and all sorts of unrecognized obstacles that God needed to deal with within me before I could flow with Him, and even after such have been dealt with by God the devil can still orchestrate others later that must be dealt with. The pathway up the mountain is treacherous and unpredictable from our perspective, because we don't always recognize or understand what is happening or why. We also make mistakes for which we must repeat a lesson. Timing can even be an issue, because God may have to prepare others before we can move forward in certain ways.

We all have different tasks and different moment, maybe your time to do somethings for others is not there. Thats my only answer its not the time. You already walk with God understand Him. Just build up your Faith. Did you confess all and every sin on your knees confess everything just like he says? You can testify already. And look you have doubts or questions but you ask it here. Not the right place, put God first. Ask God this. Be mad to God for thing happening to you not mad at God or happy to God. God is your father. If we have such joy or regret or a problem who do we turn to? A friend or father or mother but just start to ask and tell everything first to our Father before spilling it to anyone else.
