Please tell your video director, Thank you, from all of us who look for the bassist when we watch music videos. It is good to see that they don't hide you in the dark corner like so many others do with the bass. These kids need to see how a bassist worships and plays at the same time. :-)

Shae I was curious as to how much you'd recommend me teaching myself. Im not in really in any positions where i could have an instructor so I was just wondering. I know you can take any instrument to any leval but It just seems that bass is pretty basic. I've played around with the guitar so I kinda knowish my way around. I've concluded that the rythym section is where i belong since I play drums so I have decent knowledge as to how bass sits in the bass. Any information on a beginer bass within a budget would be nice. Thanks.

Hi there guys, I've done a few tutorials on your songs. Ive just seen a couple of them have been blocked, they had previously been running, with revenue going to you. The difference in my videos is I take the time to break down all the parts and explain them, to help out all the beginners out there. I always say at the start of my videos that I don't own rights to the song, and that viewers should check out official sources to practice to. My question is, what can I do differently to stop you from blocking my videos? Considering I make purely for educational purposes and make no money from them myself, that would constitute "fair use".

Your Sound is so nice!! 🔥🔥 I love to play with overdrive and pick but I have a problem ... My clean sound is really nice and you can really feel it through the subwoofer But as soon as I turn on my overdrive, my sound is no longer bassy and you can no longer feel it and it only comes on the normal speakers. Do you have a tip for me or what am I doing wrong? I would love to continue working with Overdrive, but the technicians always say that I miss the sound as soon as I switch it on. But on the in ears the sound is really nice. A very nice video!
@shaewooten4 жыл бұрын
Hey Lukas! What type of overdrive are you using? If there is an EQ I would play with adding bass and taking away a tiny amount of treble. Guitar pedals used on bass are notorious for taking away low end, even if they sound really good on the top end. Which is why it can sound good in your in-ears but thin in the house. I usually run two lines in parallel, one clean and one with my effects. That way when I turn on an effect I still have one line that has all of my low end still intact. Your sound engineer can help with this! My hxstomp has the ability to split lines, that is super helpful. Otherwise I use the Goodwood Bass Interfacer. Hope this helps!
@lukaseisinger41384 жыл бұрын
@@shaewooten Hey shae, Thank you first for your answer. I have had the Helix Effects at home for 2 weeks now and connect my Eden WTDI Pre amp. I use the normal overdrive that the stomp also has. But I still have the same problems. But with the 2 lines I will try it out that sounds like a solution .. Thanks bro! ✌️
