Hey there, I noticed that you said you was also a furry as well as a therian. I must tell you now that when i first started making therian videos for my old account I got a lot of hate for saying I was a furry as well. A lot of therians said that you couldn't be both a furry and a therian which I think was ridiculous. Of course you can be both. I love your gear, it's so beautiful, my collar is breaking like that too :( it was my very first spiked collar and i love it so much, it now hurts my neck because of the breaks. I also have a wolf hat/hood but in grey. It's kind of shrunk in the wash now. I wish there were more therians near me where I live in the UK. I so love the look of your wolf pack meets. I feel as if I'm missing out.

Hello PD! I love your videos! How did you find out your kintype?

I've always known I'm a swiss white shepherd dog since .. young age or birth. I've just known as long as I can remember hha. When I was 9 I wrote in my diaries 'secret: I'm part dog' and I constantly drew this dog and wished I would be a dog in a next life and so on. For the pink river dolphin, I've only discovered 2 - 2,5 years ago. I was questioning a rufous elephant shrew (sort of mouse) but when I met StarDolphin on Therian Guide they told me about dolphins etc. I hated dolphins for my entire life, so I felt uneasy and conflicted looking into them. I found out, after a lot of self research and analyzing myself, that I was a pink river dolphin. Upon finding this I remembered that at 8-12 years old I got the nickname 'pink dolphin'. And that it's from there on that I started psychologically developing this identity and behaviour etc. I believe I must have unconciously developed this identity (as copingmechanism?) due bullying after getting the nickname. For the goldcrest (recently discovered, I'm making an update video soon)... that's only a very small part of my identity. it's a bit like one who is creative, smart but also a bit technical. That technical part then is the goldcrest. It's a smaller portion of my identity. Ever since I was 13-15 I have had a special.. feeling around this bird. One such bird flied against the window as i studied, I tried to help it but coudn't reach it. I waited, and eventually decided to continue studying. The bird sat next to the window the entire time. Ever since he returned every day to watch me as I studies (he ate too a lot because this bird can lose 1/3rd of his body mass if not eating within 20minutes). He dissapeared suddenly, probably as he died by then as this bird usually doesn't get older than 4 or 8 months. But ever since I've felt certain things and developed behaviour and an identity. Due the presence of the bird and our friendship I seemed to have unconciously developed an identity fragment as a goldcrest. I only discoverd this a few months ago. While I drew this bird and even wrote a book called 'goldcrest' where the bird has a special meaning.. I just never seem to have paid any attention to it until I noticed how I felt so small during certain phantomshifts etc. Which also made sense, while researching pink river dolphin as a theriotype I mentioned I first thought I was a rufous elephant shrew right? This was due their snout, the colours, the size and the behaviour a lot. Welll the goldcrest is very very simular in all these aspects. how about you?

hey PD i got a question but i need to explain myself first off before getting to it, My name is eloise and i am a poly therian of two alien types and one theriotype my animal is a timberwolf but i am also a Cybertronian and a Saiyan, now i don't have a lot of gear for my alien saiyan because it is the only one which i strongly connected with but as for my Cybertronian i only managed to get a few gear here and there mainly i managed to get 'toys' (( i dont like call it that but whatever)) from my brother and preserve them either on my bookshelf or in a nice tucked away box to keep them safe. *now my question is : PD what can i do to show more of the stronger alienkin/Non biological types rather than just my Theriotype? also is it rare to have an alienkin type which nobody else has heard of like my Saiyan type as an example?*

Nice to meet you! Could it be I saw you pass by on therian amino? They have one or two Cybertronians there I think that I saw being active not too long ago. Well I don't have any of these kintypes but I could imagine (not offending meant if you're not from space or think it's all just nonsense! I have little to no experience with alienkin) maybe space themed collars could work? Or necklaces with starts, planets, the colours,.. I know etsy has amazing space themed collars and dogtags. Maybe a bracelets with stones that looks like stones from the planet/place/..? You could perhaps make some things out of metal, like keychains or little figurines that remind you of anything related to cybertronians? maybe alien-themed bandana's, plushies,.. could work? Or if you feel as if the typical alien-figure feels offending/silly/.. you could make one yourself or commission one that looks like your specie? I think mainly working with collars and materials that are connected to your alientype and such might be easiest as I can imagine it's hard to find anything specificly around cybertronians or saiyans. If saiyans are somewhat know you could perhaps find artwork from them tho? To hang up as a poster. Or books? I'm not sure, I don't know your types that well sadly. Colours, matterials, thema's, commissioned or home made items might be handiest for you. I'm sorry for perhaps not being the best help, I know little about your theriotypes and your 'kind' of therians (aliens etc). :/ And no! I mean, it's unique. But it's not weird. Not many ever heard about pink river dolphins before either with me. But it's all fine. You're just super unique! Not weird :D Be proud of yourself to have found yourself instead of staying at a general version that 'kind of feels like you'. You digged deep enough, did enough research, and truely know who you are without following a herd! Respect!

I’d recommend cross fox tails, silver fox tails or frost fox tails. Maybe a platinum or red platinum for grey colours. Cinnamon fox or burgundy for brown colours Coyote tails are probably what will look most like a timber wolf tail Stay away from ebay, amazon, aliexpres and wish. These get their tails from chinese furfarms who have no laws for humane animal treatment. The result is animals living in horrible conditions, being beaten and drowned. Being mistreated and abused. And dying a horrible painful dead after having lived months in a small dirty cage with horrible food and no care. Hope you find a tail to your liking :)

yep! I love collecting those all. It's not harming anyone or any animal and all so beautiful :o I'll often make necklaces, keychains, dreamcatchers,.. with found feathers or stones too. Nice! I have ears and a tail, but I don't wear them much. I had a friend make my tail for me when I was a teenager, and I've been looking into buying a realistic tail of higher quality. Even though I want a realistic tail, though, I'd never, ever buy a real tail. I'd say that killing any animal for something like a pelt or a tail is cruel and imoral- whether or not the "farm" uses tactics as brutal as Chinese fur farms use.

We got a giant therian community in Belgium and the Netherlands of a good 75+ therians and bi-monthly meetups from ~12 attendees each time (a record of 18 this upcoming weekend!) Once you move to the Netherlands, you can apply to this community :) google 'belgian & dutch therians' on facebook, read the rules and apply! Fill in the questions and the admin team will manually approve you. From that point you'll have a big local groupschat, local locations map (to meet up etc), a medium to chat & discuss & share and bi-monthly meetups :) We're currently also working on a discord server and minecraft server!

you can also purchase yarn or fake fur tails :) if you watch my 'real vs fake fur' video than you'd know that by my calculations fake fur is much more harmfull and will kill more animals at the end as it is plastic. This is why many go for real fur.

tails which have been tanned poorly (cheap chemicals, bad tan job like not having been soaked well etc) tend to rot yet. As well as badly scraped tails (tails where the natural oils of the animal haven't been removed properly) tend to slowly fall apart and get holes over time. Like, the fat that's still there will litterally eat the tail away

as always, love this video so much pd! you've got such cool stuff!💓 but omg i had to comment to say that there really is no such thing as a cruelty-free furfarm, sadly, as it's just an oxymoron. yes, i suppose some are crueller than others in their treatment of the animals prior to killing them, but there's still no such thing as a 'cruelty-free' furfarm. obviously not saying "GET RID OF THE ONES YOU HAVE!" bc that would be pointless, just saying hey..maybe don't promo furfarms like there's good ones. even saying "oh but it makes me feel closer to my theriotype" makes zero sense, as i would have thought caring for the animal that's being killed for it would outweigh that thought, and if anything, would make you hold strong feelings AGAINST it. fake fur is defintely the way to go, even in traditional fashion for people who aren't a therian. but anyway. love ya pd ❤️❤️

emma15 emma15 there are what is officially seen cruel free furfarms. Meaning the killing proccess should be pain and stressfree and the life as stressfree as possible. Ofcourse, I wish farms had bigger cages and all. But many (european and canada is also pretty OK) furfarms have very high quality food, bedding, calming injection or sleeping gas before being put down etc. The animal lives in a way better condition than most chickens, cows and pigs. Just as I make sure to buy eggs from free roam chickens and meat from as cruelfree as possible cowfarms, I do this with tails too. Fake tails aren't any better for the earth and it's animals either, as it's plastic and it's known that 1 plastic bag standard kills 20 animals. A plastic tail will also eventually kill lots of animals. Not within 10 minutes but over 2 weeks of starving and sufficating slowly... so yes, I will continue to promote to buy from cruel free furfarms. Sorry. I'd advice you to rethink if fake fur (plastic) is really any less cruel. @@PDTherian i also respect yours, but im afraid i don't believe that there's any way farming an animal for its fur can be cruelty-free, no matter how it's kept or fed or anything beforehand. that, again, is just an oxymoron. on the other hand, harvesting a tail or fur from an animal that has already naturally died in the wild and wasn't being kept and farmed for its fur, i understand -- that's not cruel. but there is definitely no such thing as a cruelty-free furfarm. as for the plastic, sure i get your point and that is true and all, but surely you wouldn't be throwing your fake fur tail in the trash? surely, it would be a possession of yours for a long, long time and not be harming the environment at all. thanks for your reply anyway

the 'you aren't throwing your fur tail in the trash' makes..not really sense sadly enough in the long run :/ sure we wouldn't throw them in the trash. But a human becomes max 100-ish. plastic (fake fur is palstic) takes 2000 years (atleast 200 just to become pieces) to dissapear. Where will it end if you're dead/lose it/..? Yeh right. On some kind of trash pile or somewhere. It ends the same way and does the same damage. It'll eventually harm the enviroment. Weither you lose it within a year, throw it away in 10 years or die in 50 years. It's a matter of time. In my opinion in the long turn a fake fur tail is just as cruel (if not more seeing 1 plastic bag standardly kills 20 animals due being eaten, the animals body dissapearing, being eaten again etc). So that's why I'll stay rather with real fur than fake fur. Less damage and less pain in the long run. I see tho what you claim around cruelty free, and respect so.
