Todays video would more likely be a rather funny, weird, odd, to even cringy video for once.
As when I enjoy snow, I'm refusing to let my human mind, my human thinking hold me back from being happy. Because I do notice how weird I can get, but I also notice how much sadder and more boring my life gets when I let my human mind, and human society hold me back.
During this fun video, of freezing hands, snowy tails and soaking wet clothes, I also got kind of a shifty moment, which I might or might not have included at the end of the video O:) So u'll have to watch to find out!
I apologize for as it might come off as weird, cringy or if you feel awkward if you watch this video. I'm not always like this, but I CANNOT RESIST SNOW AAAAAAH

PD hehe I fall on my face too xD, but you definitely have the positioning right. I think a video like that would be great, even if it was just some tips you learned yourself rather than a whole toutorial. And a tip from me, if you keep falling, try only trotting until your body is ok with moving faster in that position then run. I found that just straight up running leads to more crashes ;D.

Aww that sounds so nice! :') Well ofcourse I would reply to such a nice person as you! I LOVE it yes! :D Oh a wolf tail? Where are you getting it from if I may ask? Good places for collars are Etsy, which often has very fun prints with cactusses and foxes and are 90% of the time hand made especially for you! Many on Etsy also would love to make a custom collar, meaning you can tell exactly what you want. Color, pattern,... and they'll make it! :) I also found many collars from aliexpress and wish actually to be pretty good quality. So I also recommand those for a cheaper option! Only metal parts are often a lot less strong sadly enough. Also just regular pet shops are very nice places for collars :) Tho they're often a bit expensive.. I also LOVE snow. But, i have a question. I got a tail from Amazon for Christmas, and i would like to know, how can you tell if your tail is safe to wear in the rain or snow?

I hope you don't buy from amazong again :/ The stores there are very cruel. Watch this vid: kzbin.info/www/bejne/f6emkJeMrJebj5o, the description includes some good And bad shops too for in the future! On tails and rain/snow: basicly you have to be carefull around any sort of water. Real tail have a core of leather and this CANNOT get wet. Wet leather will become hard and thin as paper, it'll smell, rot and/or tear apart and get ripped that way. Result: damaged tail. This is also why you cannot wash your tail, it's a 'surface clean only'. You can get the fur wet however, just don't get it soaking wet all too often as your tail won't be soft anymore and might smell a bit (think about a wet dog smell). So as long as it's not raining all too hard and you don't lay in the snow too long, it's all fine. Rule: as long as the leather doesn't get wet, it's fine. And as tails usually have thick layers of fur, you should be fine for a bit. If you wore it in the snow, hang it up to dry. Don't put it directly near a heat source like a fire as you might damage the fur. And don't lay it flat as the water will drip into the leather after all. Does that answer your question?

There is a lot of snow in Holland now too but I'm not allowed to go into the snow with my tail and I'm also scared that I will break it by having it being wet. How do you deal with that?

I actually was really scared about such things at first too. But if you got a decent tail, you shouldn't have to worry all too much. By example I got two decent tail and one very weak tail. That third tail u can feel how the leather is all cracked up and will snap/break in no time as well is the fur totally sticked together and falling out, it wasn't properly made. With normal tails however: u don't have to worry with it getting wet except from the leather. The leather inside the tail is the only thing that cannot stand water, if the leather gets wet it will get all hard or atleast a bit harder and this will cause the tail to get less flexible, even less soft and it to break easily. However: everything else can get wet. The fur will just dry like any normal textile or fur. And about the leather getting wet: it doesn't get all too wet all too easily actually. With a real tail the fur has kind of natural oil of the original animal still on it, which makes it pretty much water resistant (my tail was barely even wet after rolling in the snow!) as well are real fur tails often threatened with care when made and having had several 'coats' over them both for covering animal smell, prevent hair to fall out and the leather to rot. So you really shouldn't be all too scared of it getting wet. But !!! prevent it from getting in contact with direct water. Don't swim with a tail or soak the tail in water!! As then the leather easily get in direct touch with the water. What I did have so far when wearing my tail at an amusement park is the keychain ripping, but this was easily fixed by just making a new ring on it and attaching the keychain again. hopefully this helped! I might make a 'how to take care of tails' video somewhere soon. WOOF! PD

just as long as u won't put it in a bottle of water or such it should be fine :) it's fur, and animals have to stay dry too! (I accidently once dropped my tail in a bucket of water actually, but it turned out completely fine as I got it out immediatly and the leather didn't even get wet. U should be way more carefull with it getting dirty (mud, food, paint,..) as you obviously cannot (proper) wash the tail, it's pretty much 'surface only washable' so getting dirt out is way more difficult than keeping the tail safe. WOOF! PD

Lunar Wingspack basically I have a tail that is 30 inches long and it's black and has a red tip on the end of it and sparkles on the end of my tail also and when I get it wet in the snow it won't break and when I go in snow with it the snow stays on my tail but it dries up and then my tail is like brand new and it's awesome so basically if you want a tail that won't get wrecked or won't break in the snow then get one that can handle it or don't wear it when there is snow outside or when it is snowing out that's all I can say I hope that helped best of luck from Wolfie peace 🐺😉🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾😉🐺

Sadly I'm personally not a fan of online packs (as it's never that close or family-like as an IRL pack, be aware that the moment you leave you are most of the time just forgotten.) However I do know some are very friendly and very nice. But by this, I don't have any online pack or am in one. However, if you tell me your country (for privacy reasons: I don't need anything specific, just your state or like 'Germany' or 'Italy' is more than enough) and I might be able to help you find some closeby living therians! Think about this: Belgium is a VERY tiny country, and not that especially open-minded either. Yet I've found 23+!! therians living within a distance of 30 min to 4 hours of driving. Most of them only live a small hour away from me! There REALLY are a lot more therians close by then you would think. You just have to reach out, search and never give up. You just have to find them (which is really hard as therians are most of the time pretty.. hiding.. all the time) Once you find 1 therian, you'll notice that this 1 already knows 2 others. And you'll notice that those 2 others, each also already know 1 other therian etc etc. Soon after that you'll find a whole network of local therians! :) That's how I found out I'm not alone. I found 1 therian (at my school, I already knew her for a year but didn't know that she was a therian!) she introduced me to 8 other therians! And that's how I reached 23+ therians by now :)

However I do remember there were 2 canada therians on the Therian Amino. I recommand checking out that app (only on phone, but through a converter like bluestacks it should also work on your pc) and placing a blog/poll. As I can't remember their exact names anymore, you might find them that way! Who knows! Maybe one of them lives in the same town as you! :) Goodluck. WOOF! PD

I also Very fastly checked the Therian Guide (forum) map. Which is a map members can put their location on. Hi! Plz watch my 'how to take care of tails // tails' care guide on my channel. It can be found on my channel front page, second playlist called '"Therian Gear" by a pinkdolphin' It includes all info about how you can care for real fur tails as well as a bit about fake fur tails :) To give a fast answer however: Do Not get your tail wet. Tails can't stand water very well. "but PD u roll around in the snow!" ... let me explain a bit more in depth. The fur of real fur (fox) tails can perfectly get wet. It'll easily dry and because of the natural animal (and chemical) oils on the tail, rain drops etc usually stay on the fur (as well as most of the snow) without soaking in the fur eitherway. Which is why ur perfectly able to roll into snow or walk outisde in a light rain (no heavy rain!) The problem occurs when the core of the tail, the leather that can be found from the top to the bottom of your tail, covered in thick layers of fur.. the problem occurs when that leather gets wet. The problem with wet leather is that once it dries. It gets hard and dry. Your tail will not be flexible again, will not bend anymore, will rip way more easily as well as break etc because it becomes more like paper or wood then a soft kind of textile that you can bend. While walking in light rain or rolling in the snow is fine as only the top layer of the fur would get wet, or not even that. Do not try to wash your tail (surface clean only!) or don't drop it in a pool of water. What IF you drop your tail in a pool of water? Sadly enough your leather most likely has gotten wet as that's a lot more water then just a few drops. If this happens, Don't try to heat up the tail by hair dryers, chaufage or your house fire or anything alike. Don't hang the tail in the sun either. Heat will only worsen the stiffness and hardness of the leather, meaning you'll only create more damage. Let the leather slowly dry at normal air temperatures (14 to 18°C) and try brushing the fur every few hours so it won't klit together (form knots) from drying. And then it's hoping that the tail survived. Hot water (think about a bath or accidental washmachine wash) or water heaten up by your hair dryer will also destroy the fur and give it heat damage. Meaning you'll lose about 60% of the softness of your fur and fur might possible fall out faster over time. It's a bit of a curse, because if you drop your tail in a dog poop or mud you're basicly doomed as you can't really wash it with a lot of soaps (you might wanna try out dog shampoo but I wouldn't take too many risks.. this hasn't been tried out yet) and you can barely get the tail wet to wash it. It's taking a towel, with a tiny bit of water and rubbing the fur in the hope the dirt will come off. That's why one should Always be carefull with real fur tails :) I hope you were something with this information! :D

blizzard the therian ur very welcome! I never clearly explained how to wash or handle fake fur tails around water however, not even in the vid. Fake fur tails require another kind of specific handling and washing. So if you have a fake tail and need tips then I'll gladly help as well! Oh and cool! Amazing! :D

honestly I got it from aliexpress, €6 (that's about 8$ I think), however it was both described as clearly shown in picture to be fake. But the one I received was real. Still the best and my favorite tail I got however. But I feel a bit bad about it as aliexpress is known to be one of the worst when you look at how the animal is treated. Cheap = less money to treat the animal correctly = a more painfull life and/or horrible death. WOOF! PD
