Thanks, this helmet has been a big assets to my spraying health

Putting it into operation What is the correct air pressure it needs to be adjusted to on air regulator in oven? before you then set your spraygun inlet pressure about 2 bar and you're ready to spray. I understand how to set up the masks to fit your head but not anything once in the oven what needs to be set up so it works and doesn't sound off its whistle 😬 Any advice would be appreciated 👍🏻

All you need to do is set your regulator on the wall to 7-8 bar. Plug your airline into your helmets filter belt. The airline to the gun can then be regulated by a gauge on your gun. It is really very simple. I hope this answers your question? Wayne

Can anyone tell me, is it the Paint like Acrylic Urethane that has Isocynates??? or is it Only the Reducer/Activator/Hardner stuff that has isocynates??? Searching for an Iso-free Paint+activator. thanks!
@damageundoneltd3 жыл бұрын
It is normally the hardener that contains isocyanates

I am not familiar with air fed mask but I'm super interested. I have been told that you need a outside air intake to feed a separate air compressor and a separate 3 stage filter system for breathing air then your air mask system.... Is this correct and please add any information. Thank you.
@damageundoneltd3 жыл бұрын
Hi Yes you need a compressor that is in an clean area and gets fresh air supply. You will also need to look at a test kit to check the quality of the air coming out of your compressor, something like this SAGOLA AIR QUALITY TESTING KIT kzbin.info/www/bejne/faaVgZaXiJKbgbs Finally you will need a decent 3 stage filtration system unless you buy a mask with a good activated charcoal filter like the sata DROPOUT & AIR FILTRATION SYSTEM kzbin.info/www/bejne/g4iTpKNpe5mZgck

Hi just wondering, the cloth around the face of the mask those it smell?? Because I just thought our face sweats during summer and I don’t think you can take the cloth off to wash it and keep it clean as well….
@damageundoneltd Жыл бұрын
Hi, it’s not something I’ve ever had an issue with but you are correct it is not possible to remove it and wash it.

The face guard on the sata 2000 & 5000 and the 3m versaflo full face are all removable

Hi Wayne, doing some research on air fed masks, so as you know I have a half decent 3 stage air filtration system which gives you breathable air so why do we need another carbon filter at the mask if the 3 stage is giving breathable air, is the extra belt filter really necessary, oh I have the same sort as you used to have (with the half mask) but mine has a full face visor, thanks, John.
@damageundoneltd4 жыл бұрын
The filter at the belt clears away any contamination that may have collected in the airline between the 3 stage and your mask

Ah right I see, ok thanks Wayne.

What is the different in filters
@damageundoneltd3 жыл бұрын
If you are asking about the filters in the waistband there is no difference except the size of the filters. They are both active charcoal filters and must be used with a minimum 2 stage air filtration system before reaching the belt. A pack of 4 Devilbiss filters are about the same price as one Honeywell filter, however the Honeywell is larger and so should be more successful at filtering your air I actually run a 3stage system and so you could say I’m doubling up on the final charcoal stage kzbin.info/www/bejne/g4iTpKNpe5mZgck

Hey, nice review, thanks. Any thoughts on the Devilbiss v Sata's Vision 5000? Also, do you have coveralls on for the vid? if so, who makes them? (they look good)
@damageundoneltd2 жыл бұрын
I prefer the 5000, it is the best helmet that I have used to date SATA VISION 2000 VS VISION 5000 kzbin.info/www/bejne/oZOxZoyMesZoh6c No that was not a spray suit just a hoody. For spray suits I recommend the Colad suits or if you got to my Instagram page @damageundone you will see that I wear a brand called elite paint suits a lot

How do you like this vs the sata unit. Im running a sata 2000 right now.

The devilbiss is a great helmet but if comparing it to sata’s then it’ll be then it’ll the 5000 for me out of those 3. That’s a really great helmet with loads of optional extras, like air heaters and coolers Have a read the through my article called AIRFED MASKS REVIEW that I wrote on airfed masks damageundonearticles.my.canva.site

Yeah i haven't seen anyone in the States with one( im gonna ask out paint rep). I know the humidity on the sata 5000 would be nice cuz the dry air really drys my sinuses out. They're just a little pricy here

@adamwachlin5696 if you have a decent 3 stage filter then just go for the normal belt and mask kit
