I've been single for 31 years since my last divorce and wouldn't ever be married again. I know I should never have married or been a mother. I prefer my peace and quiet. So many of my friends have unhealthy, unhappy relationships. I love putting my key in the door and knowing I don't have to deal with anyone (except my dog).

@@veronicwbrennan4002 Dee clearly says she shouldn't have married nor been a mother, in the second sentence*. This clearly implies she has done both. Have we got to the point where nobody understands what's being said, because it's not spelled out precisely as you would like, when the meaning is otherwise clear? Hopefully not and you just skimmed over the words, or just tired. Which brings me to another thought: marriage and children are like a kind of prison sentence* which you must wait out and be largely freed of in middle age. Only one way of looking at it...and obviously there are rewards.

Amen to your thoughts on being single. I agree!! Men were “fun” ( and sometimes NOT “fun) in my younger years. But in our age group, you grow into confidence and independence and recognizing you are complete and whole and awesome on your own. Feels good. I love my independence and being able to take care of myself…and coming home to MY dog. ❤️

In Spain we have a saying “mejor sola que mal acompañada” which translates to “better to be alone than with bad company”. Far better bring dingle than tied to someone who brings you down or brings trouble to your door.

Do it Jo, I had mine cut exactly like that 2 weeks ago and everyone commented saying it looked fab and how brave I was!! It makes me feel young and trendy.😜 Make sure it’s a bit more layered on top so you don’t go flat. Do it, do it. Hair grows. I’m going even shorter next time. Xxx

You're haircut is so cute! Don't cut it shorter, it's a lot more work than longer hair!! It needs to be styled daily to look good. In fact leave it longer :) -Shoulder length at any age is flattering and easier to manage. I love your channel and Myrtle has stolen my heart♡ She's spectacular and so are you. You can by Raquel Welch wigs online, about £100. But worth it if hair is not up to scratch. As for me I'm now 69 with a short layer cut which i've cut myself for over 25 years. I got fed up going to the hairdresser who would chop it to bits not allowing for the natural bend in the hair. I never have to worry, dry it all over with hairdryer and run my fingers thru it.😊 as mentioned before my mother was a London hairdresser to the stars in 1948, but for twenty years i studied how they cut hair when i used to go. To get your hair to stay under you could have it slightly layered at bottom front.

Yes, the haircut would look great on you, imo. The only "downside" will possibly be the need for more frequent trimming to keep the shape. If it gets to be a bother, you can grow it out again. 💇‍♀️💖

Definitely go for a shorter style, if the sides are more manageable it will fall easily without needing to readjust around ears. As you will see my hair is very short (I’m 69) and was bleached white. I now let my own colour grow with a sprinkle of grey, it keeps in far better condition. Good luck, go for it 🤗🤗🤩🤩

You said mid week that you will use this bag every single day. On its 1st outing you are driving to protect it from the rain. I expect there will be many more driving days 🤣🤣 A Michelle Williams hair style will suit you perfectly because of your high cheek bones. I’m in a bedsit after teaching in Morocco. My house is rented out. Might go to Spain in September. Being single means I can do what I want. Have a purpose, that’s what makes life interesting.
