My Thoughts on Intergalactic The Heretic Prophet

There's no way I'm buying a game from naughty dog after last of us 2 It was a complete waste of money and I wont make the same mistake. The writing only focused on surface level shock value and had no immersion with character development or world building. For example, I believe good writing will get a person to a place where they feel like crying, and the fact that I didn't get near that place when Joel died surprised me. I was so invested in that character from the first game. Even a mediocre writer could have made that a much more emotional experience. Then I was forced to play as an unlikable antagonist, which was not an enjoyable experience at all. I just kept letting the zombies kill me cause I didnt care if she lived or died, and after a few hours I realized it wasn't going to return to Ellie and I was going to be stuck playing her for a while, so I just quit playing. And I always finish a game when I start it, so that was a first. Further showing me how much I really don't like this game. And, after watching the ending on Utube, I'm so glad I quite when I did. It was such a waste of money, and I'm not exaggerating when I say the worse game I've ever played. There's no way I will buy a game from them again.

Yeah i feel the same way man. The last of us 1 had me balling within the 1st 30 minutes and you right, when Joel died i felt nothing other than why did it happen so suddenly. I do feel like they added abby in just cause they didnt really know where the story was going. I think the last of us 1 was a phenomenal game and should have never had a sequel and hopefully thats why they are doing this new game and not last of us 3. But i honestly do think you will either select one of five characters to play through the game with or it'll be alot like the last of us 2 where you'll play as different characters as the game goes on. The only problem with the 2nd option is that every time you switch to a different character you won't have any of the abilities or stuff the previous character you were playing had. So hopefully its more like Baulders Gate 3 where you select a character from like 4 or 5 guys and just play the game as one character. But i also do believe it's different levels will be different planets and there will probably be a space station or something that'll have a city inside of it that youll keep coming back to. But i still think we need to see more, cuz im in the same boat as you. Im not wanting to buy this until i see more
