It's called pattern recognition, and after 10 years of this nonsense we've grown pretty good at it. Throw in the fact that it's Neil Druckman at the helm, and that pretty much seals the deal for a lot of people. So no, it's not coming out of thin air. They say they're making games for "the modern audience." Well...where the hell are they? Because, given all the recent flops, any reasonable person would be able to conclude they don't actually exist. I'm also seeing comparisons being made to Ellen Ripley and questioning why one succeeds while the other fails. I feel for many it comes down to perceptions in attitude. Ellen Ripley still came across feminine and personable which instantly made you want to cheer for her to succeed when the shit hit the fan. But when you come off as a smug a-hole (regardless of your gender) well that's naturally gonna turn people off and not want to engage with you further. Basic psychology 101.

You know, if you mix 1 kilogram of sugar and 1 kilogram of shit then you'll get 2 kilograms of shit.

Игра говно,сразу видно, что тут обсуждать.. А персонаж тут вызывает раздражения. за такого играть не охота.

I really don't get all the backlash against this. She IS really pretty. Like, *mathematically* pretty, her face is that well aligned. Same with the Horizon Zero Dawn lady. If you met this woman in real life, any hetero guy would think she's pretty. Is it really just because of the muscle and shaven head?... Nice video dude, with you 100%.
