@@TheToniz4 When I will be retired I will make videos on PeerTube. I did collaborate on YT with Eric Adams on LibreOffice Calc and Slackware, with Adrien Linuxtricks on Gentoo, with DistroTube on Slackware and with English Bob on Slackware and Gentoo/Calculate. Topics for videos in the future: Crux Linux, LibreOffice Base, servers on non systemd distributions (DHCP, DNS, LDAP, FTP, SSH, NFS, Samba, Apache, and so on ....), troubleshooting, and so on ....

Seems like you like using Neofetch on shell start. I suggest looking at Paleofetch. It's pretty much just Neofetch written in C and optimized to hell and back again. A few things are hardcoded for Arch Linux but I personally use it for Alpine Linux and just did a bit of tinkering to make it work. This will improve the responsiveness of your shell start substantially.

as others said many times, Manjaro Stable isn't a "stable"-branch, it's just delayed updates.

I tried Manjaro, felt like I was on LSD, every time I used it, something major was different and I had no idea how to reset it, following instructions & FAQ's was useless. I guess I wasn't ready for it. But I do 80% of everything in Tty so desktop isn't that important to me - and it's all basic stuff anyway, nothing elaborate (writing, web browsing, listening to music, email) so I really don't need some kind of insanely complicated system.

Try Artix linux, it's arch base but has both GUI and CLI installers.

I downloaded the Gentoo iso, if you start vlogging this, it would be great! I started on Manjaro and Kali. After 2 months of Manjaro I went to vanilla Arch with twm's and haven't looked back. I would suggest manjaro to anyone looking to get into Arch, it's a nice primer. I'm really starting to get annoyed with systemd. When it works, cool, but when there are issues (like with the latest Arch kernel 5.8 and Bluetooth, I want to kill kittens). Please tell if more about your Dvorak journey!
