My opinion: Smg4 deserves a break. Each week we get a new episode meaning that in just 7 days he need to come up with ideas and animate the video while checking the progress of murder drones final episode

The most problematic issue is that smg4 (not luke or the channel,i mean the character) did not learn any lessons from the past few arcs as he kept going craving for fame and popularity,like he tried in the mini arc "smg4 and the meme factory" arc, as he tried to force mario to be mascout,aslong mario tried to resist he went a little bit insane. Smg4 is more likely to be a cheap copy of mr.puzzles and this behavior of the character with the constant abuse he puts mario and his friends in (especially mario) got him to be the most hated character in the fandom. So smg4s character is the biggest issue around the dramas and the community.

Wouldn't it be funny if this was supposed to happen? Maybe they're building up to something bigger, like SMG4 realizing he's an ass when his friends start to turn their backs to him or sum, so there could be another arc to better himself? Idk I'm just thinking

yeah, saiko doesnt even get any screentime anymore other than being some random ragdoll in a crowd with other ragdolls. Its odd and I dont know why they are now only amounted to being background casts and not main episode people. Back during late april 2023 is the last time I guess that we properly saw all the characters be used??? Other then that they have just played "roles" and not be themselves or show up often.

@@Machroma medi is making them background characters now cuz he knows the writers are not going to use them… but at least people are finally getting more frustrated with this…like I think the channel should listen to the community a bit more because I can see not listening to it for a long period of time will just kill the channel sokn

I’ve been constantly debating to continue walking smg4 or to stop, since the arcs were the thing that got me into it (specifically the western spaghetti movie, which I watched live) but the disappointment with the Puzzlevision movie? All the arcs that he caused that again caused so much to change. what I’m saying/ trying to say is the build up to the Puzzlevision movie was GREAT. But the movie was underwhelming. And you’d think that when Tari got another character attached to her (clench-) it would be more important??? There is so much potential with Clench and Mr Puzzles. And I don’t want Mr Puzzles to have the same crybaby personality that smg3 has now. I just want characters to have their personalities. To KEEP having their personalities.

clench and mr.puzzles do not have any potentially between the series The personality dont change,its called character development. Smg3 does not have any problems with the personalitys at all as he is still on the list of the most loved smg4 characters. So is mr.puzzles. Clench being a new person in the part of the crew does also not change the fact that he is important and wasnt in the crew at all. Clench was taris arm for years,he does seem new but he actually isnt. By the reports of the smg4 community, the puzzlevision was a little bit overwhelming to watch for some, but the whole disappointment throughout the movie was,thay mario did not get the big role when he actually should have. I hope one day Bob gets his own series. Honestly I’d love it if Bob was the main character. He was always my favorite. I guess Fishy Boopkins can also be in it, and maybe Rob if he has more to him besides corn.

My honest opinion of smg4 and a rant on it: I first started watching smg4 when the episode who let the chomp out released and i kept watching because I believed it was a really funny video and watched every other video he made and it was amazing, then smg4 did something amazing he mixed comedy and story telling in a way that im still surprised big studios dont do and by that i mean they allow the characters to exist in the world that they are in in not a scripted way but like this world is really there and the characters have always been there, the introduction of characters was an amazing part of the smg4 show characters that all had different ways of moving or talking or anything they all felt unique, and the comedy even now as an adult i watch the old videos and they still make me laugh and not a chuckle like and actual laugh, and how i fell about it now i feel sad like really really sad since now every video follows one thing and one thing only getting 9-10 year olds to laugh because mario head big now or smg4 eyes pop out of his head or someone looks at the camera and says pingus before in older videos the comedy felt organic and not like it had a target audience but just that it wanted to be funny just to be funny and the characters that had depth and their own style now do the same thing as one another without any differences, the story i feel is a little weird since old old smg4 never really had a story but 2015-16 smg4 had a more consistent narrative with each episode connecting with the next video but there could still be just a few stand alone episodes that just were there to be funny but now its all “mr puzzles big day or mr puzzles gets a car” and the stories feel forced and all end and start the same with the cliche “we are all happy, oh no we notice something bad is happening, oh no someone got hurt nah they are fine and we beat the villain” it just doesn’t feel like what the old smg4 was where yes admittedly it was a similar formula but it had more depth more details and emotion than any modern smg4 video/ arc has, the arcs are also another thing every arc until cosmology felt unique and really thought out but still random and fun but now its all one character and one character only mr god da*n puzzles and while using the same villain isn’t always bad hell the best villain zero had 2 arcs which where the best arcs and both ended in a satisfying way but now its just puzzles is defeated oh no puzzles is back oh no hes gone oh no hes right there its just not the same….. And the reason i stopped watching all together and what really made me hate the new modern smg4 show is the fact that they fired celeste without telling her, replaced her without telling her and did not give any explanation as to why they replaced her and fired her this just showed me that even the show i love isn’t safe from this kind of bullsh*t she was a great voice actress and they fired her with nothing So my feeling on smg4 is i really dont care for the new modern smg4 it to me is a pile of steamy hot garbage that killed off any hope that it could be good again

I think the problem here is just the too much rules and restrictions on KZbin to be more "Kids friendly" Without that, they will not have to censure bad words and other old things KZbin began more and more...restrictive (or something like that) and this is impact big youtubers like SMG4 Life became more restrictive Nintendo too its behind that so it's why they have to redesign somes characters, destroy Peach castle and it's why we seen less Nintendo characters But Luke say he wanted to change the chanel a bit, he did and still doing that, this is a independant chanel, no matters what you said they will still doing what they wants to do and Luke is happy like that and this is the most important for me It's been 7 years I watching SMG4, I see the developpement and it's very good (I love lores and arcs too) with better animations and good characters Less humor yes, but still funny and great to watch I just have enough of peoples who didn't understand the restrictions and stuffs but this is the life and we need to live with all of these kind of peoples..

With all due respect, But for me the problem is Luke, as he has more power and control over his brother, he pushed him not only to make SMG4 a central character instead of Mario, but to make him less close, No hearts in comments, no posts on social media other than to promote products, or stop focusing on memes to make "pretentious" stories I think so...

tbh i still think smg4 is pretty funny but i get it depends on your sense of humor. I am a more of a story type of person so i dont think smg4 is that bad today unlike others. I do think some characters need to get kind of improved on the point of them feeling dry. Does suck that they are limited now with some stuff they can do because youtube is a lot more strict now.

Yep, Im glad you open your innerself to the critics and honest opinions about it all, Like dont get me wrong, WE as viewers will never be able to make something as GOOD as SMG4 as CONSISTENT by ourselves thats for sure but when it gets to these really cool intense build ups just for lets say "Night at SMG4's" for puzzles to literally be one minute gaining POWER and having the stars pop up on the TV hyping us all up to then being crushed by the fat itallian as always its just so underwhelming,

Here are my thoughts of each Character some I do agree with. Mario- Come it should be obvious SMG4- He is still a good character; he does have some questionable things but good bean SMG3- MAN OH MAN the moment I saw him (he was the very first character I saw) I grew attached to him. Luigi- Luigi will always be Luigi (OH MY GOD HE BALIIIN) Meggy- She has gotten worse for me and I hate her Bob- I still like him Boopkins- A like dislike for me Melony- Oh my god she was done dirty after Revelations (in favor of the orange overrated ass) she honestly got the best arc Saiko- she was also done dirty but I love Darkest Hour and Saikosis

Exactly that my friend! he is a decent person, sometimes really awesome with movies like igbp, western spaghetti and wotfi 2023, but sometimes underwhelming with stuff like the ending of puzzlevision or "A night at SMG4's"
