It's a possibility that it was fully intended to be like that. Might need some testing to prove it can go through Fox's DownB shield. If it can't then it's definitely an end screen stat bug

​@@AnActualEgg1 As a non-Lucas player, it's not actually that hard to do. You just have to input two buttons at roughly the same time. Though this is coming from a Peach player, and JCFFs are pretty frame-tight as well.

The thing about Luigi is that most people overlook he can start any combos with any move. It's that grab tends to be the most prominent one because of the death combo and kill confirms. I feel as of Luigi is gonna rise slowly once people start to realize how much reward he gets off of mere hits in neutral

You have some really great editing! Also if you want to say his best move is one that gives him 0TD combos, pick up b. There’s a ton of moves that combo into it, but no finisher comes even close to matching it.

Thanks! Up b is defintely one of his best, but using it as a recovery move sucks sometimes and hitbox can sometimes be a scam which i dont like about it.

@@AnActualEgg1 Oh yeah it’s definitely not an amazing move in a vacuum. In general it’s a pretty poor up b, so it depends on your criteria for best move. I just mean that the thing that keeps Luigi viable is the up b. Without it he has nearly no 0TD’s.

This is actually so reminiscent of Brawl Link/Toon Link's 'arrow cancels' where the start of up pulling an uncharged bow shot was cancelled if you pressed neutral special right before landing. Was used for all the same reasons as Luigi in ultimate but, for Toon Link especially, it was quite strong as his arrow was large and went quite far across the stage uncharged.

Alright so luigi has one of the best down throw in the game, but it competes with doc and if u look at later % alot of the cast couldn’t get the kill confirma that luigi gets at high % but doc sends always at a favourable angle and also sends lower so more characters would combo put of it

Can's explain why the game doesn't consider it a projectile but I can tell you that reflectability and absorbability are hitbox properties and not inherent to projectiles. ZSS DSmash and Snake FSmash can be absorbed as an example.
