Could you have Claude do a revision of the Chat version? Would that save on the overall cost?

I agree. I like Chat GTP for outlining, but the prose just feels off to me.

Have you compared Sonnet 3.5 with ChatGPT 01 for writing novels? I really like the prose of Sonnet 3.5. But the limits are killing me.

@@WritingWithAIMadeEasy I've tested it on outlines. I think 01 actually does a better job for novel outlines. It's more detailed. I need to test it for prose more. But it's tricky with the limits on even a Pro account for the 01 model. My initial feeling is that Sonnet is still better for the actual prose. I just wish that Anthropic would bring out more options for Pro account use limits. It feels like being handed the keys to a Ferrari, only to realise someone keeps stealing the wheels after half hour driving, and telling you they'll put them back on in 4 hours time. Then whipping them away again. It gets tiring and you sort of just want to drive any old beat up car after a while.

I agree, but I find that I get through it by having multiple projects going at once, or you can just use Sonnet through NC, OR, or RW instead though I find I pay far more than the subscription fee from pro doing that.

Mini. The others might be better but the cost does go up which would make it closer to sonnet cost anyway

@@WritingWithAIMadeEasy 01 pro mode is better while I was writing expansions to each chapter, I asked each model to rate all the chapters in context to the other ones and made it pick a winner pro mode didn't win every time but won more than 60% of the time.

@@WritingWithAIMadeEasy I think mini vs haiku might be a better comparison? Agree with what you said about cost vs quality, important to keep in mind. From what I can tell mini is most akin price wise to haiku, and 4o similar to sonnet.
