My Thoughts On The Final Fantasy 16 Demo

In this video Genjigear talks about the FFXVI Demo that was just released yesterday. Final Fantasy 16 is going to be a much more mature game for adults compared to other Final Fantasy games. Square Enix did a good job at marketing this game so the game really delivered on everything that I expected the game would be. The combat was fun and complex, the voice acting and animation was great. It seems like this could very easily be one of the best games out this year.

My same thoughts exactly man. I love that goblins were the first fight as a reference to some of the previous games. Especially the pixels

Oh yeah, when you save the game they got the little pixel versions of the characters too, they got a lot of cool little touches like that. They definitely put everything they had into this game.

I'm honestly VERY impressed by the facial animations. There's so much subtlety going on there. Just little twitches and all that. Especially noticeable with Benedikta for some reason, that ragey nose crinkle is superb. And I think they do a VERY good job just conveying things with a character's glance alone (Especially Jill in the flashback, in roughly half the scenes she barely even speaks but the various ways she looks at Clive just say so damn much).

Totally, graphics really can enhance games

Love the Demo and the Dark Tone of the Game. But im not 100% sold on the Music yet. The Boss Battles and also Eikon Fights have a absolute Banger Soundtrack but as for the Field and Dungeon Music so far its nearly non existing.

Yeah I guess I wasn’t too critical of the music. What I heard I liked, but it did take a bit of a backseat. I am sure we will hear a lot more of it throughout the game though.

Really? I think the Stillwind Marshes BGM is one of the standout tracks of the demo honestly. I'm not worried either way tho, Soken is a god. I have zero doubts the music will be stellar.
