You're spot on about your point at the end. I've always said and thought, it doesn't matter if you hate the massive grills (and I don't like them), if people buy them then BMW will simply say well there you go we did the right decision and they will carry on. The only way BMW will change accept they were wrong is if it's a flop in sales.

1200 miles, yes..rpm increase at idle, exhaust note increase 10DB increase ( + burbles downshift). And yes, you will feel more power after 1200 miles. Unlke the past M cars, this car needs the 1200 mile break in ,before full potential. Yes, I do work at BMW. Great vid.

5’8” New Jersey kid!!! Lol. I think some of you guys are complicating this grille too much. It’s not that BMW is wrong or right it’s that they changed it drastically and lots of men can’t handle change very well. It really is that simple. That’s why overtime everyone will learn to love it because they’ll become comfortable with the change and the grille is not ugly. It’s not ugly by a long shot. It’s just different. I have argued this over and over with people. People don’t spend $100,000 on something that’s ugly. They just don’t. So my fellow men out there who are uncomfortable with change I suggest you just don’t buy one for now and then in a couple of years when you realize this is here to stay and you finally become comfortable with it if you want one buy one then. Free advice.

20:39 - exactly the first thing I say when someone asks me my opinion on the G80 cars. It's not even an M3. For someone who's been into M3s over the generations, if you're still into them with the G80, it's because your tastes in cars changed.

Had a look at the first g80 m4 to arrive in my country yesterday, looks bold has a lot of presence. On the dealer floor, there was also a 1M and G series m340i ....so we did a little sound test. The M340 was the hands-down winner, followed by the 1M. The sound was the only thing I found a little underwhelming...Nonetheless, this thing is badass !!

I’m glad this new BMW color is great. I had a 2018 mineral grey BMW. That paint was great. My new 2021 Portamio Blue M340 is awful. US M340’s are now made in a new plant in Mexico, so I don’t know if that has something to do with it. The clear coat is too soft and it nicks easy. The car was delivered to the dealer 3 days before I picked it up. It had more swirls in it than on an old car that I purchased that sat in the dealer’s lot for over six months. The only paint I can think of that is just as bad is Mazda’s Soul Red.

This spec, with those wheels, looks absolutely fire. Looks insane. I think the front end looks good, but they could’ve made it a little more angular and aggressive. Love how he tried attacking active autowerks “noodle” mid pipe. That midpipe literally made the car sound good. M2-M4 sound like shit from factory.

I saw one of these cars recently. In this color, I thought the car looked really good. I was driving my F430 Spider and one in this color came up beside me and wanted to race. Next to my F430, the thing looked as big as a truck. However, I looked at out of the corner of my eye, not giving the driver the satisfaction of acknowledging his presence. He tried really hard to get my attention and I just laughed inside. Sorry BMW man, but you'll need to come with some more juice if you want to race me, but the car in this color was very beautiful so I'll give you that. Not as beautiful as my Rossa Corsa F430 Spider, but very nice.

I doubt they'll be proven right, this car has been on sale for a month and dealers are still holding launch cars! If those stylishly dressed youngsters were really loving it then they'd be buying these up. What might sell the car is the vast selection of colors, improved interior to included for the first time ventilated seats, also for the first time AWD, and still being able to buy a manual. 100,000 Pontiac Aztek were sold, and it's still ugly all these years later! :)

The F80 CP was and still is the best looking M ever produced from BMW. Fantastic looks, enough HP & TQ to satisfy anyone looking for trouble and comfortable enough as a daily no problem. As for the carbon seat in the G80, good luck getting in and out! Those are not daily driver seats for 95% of the BMW buyers out there. For the track, yes, the street not even close, the side bolsters are ridiculous. The “cut out” version in the F series is so much more functional for daily as well as track driving. This G model is definitely faster around the track but looks horrendous and needs better styling, away from an American muscle car and back to a sleek German autobahn killer that can carve out a mountain twisty all weekend long. Just my 2 cents, coming from a longtime BMW owner.

Love the color and great detail job. Hate the car though. They keep making the M3 bigger and bigger, that is almost the size of 7 series, and steering is too artificial, but the most thing I Despise about this car, is the front end! Ugliest thing I have ever seen. I guess that makes me one of these people who is not sharp dresser and doesn’t have style. Proud to be one of those! Please don’t get one. I can’t see you driving one of the ugliest mobiles around. My favorite M3 are the E36 & E46 which probably is one of the best looking M3. Mark Qandil
