As someone who came into this cautiously optimistic, the update turned out really well. I have some minor nitpicks like stuff being buggy after launch and not being able to go to the normal hub after getting stuck in Arcade (correct me if I’m wrong), but I think there’s a really good substance to this update. I thought this was going to be one game, but no this was a whole new server basically. New hub along with base gamemodes. I do think the Bridge needs to be worked on, you shouldn’t be able to go that high and leap shouldn’t be a thing (snowballs are also debatable to an extent). However, I really like what the Hive did. People are getting underwhelmed probably due to unrealistic expectations, which is also partly on the Hive since their last huge update was 2 years ago. If I had to rate this update out of 10, I’d give it a solid 8. I know they’ll be adding more to this, and having more quantity of games to play is almost always a good thing.

All time favorite, CTF hands down. I loved it back in Lifeboat, and now Hive made me love it on their server. Other gamemodes, I have to play a little bit more to give a further rating but I personally love this update either way. The Arcade Hub is INSANELY MASSIVE. Lowkey perfect for my Hive Roleplay series (shameless self promo lol) but either way, big respects to the builders & Hive Team in general for an update that definitely left a positive dent on their server ;D

Even though it currently has flaws, I think that The Arcade is an golden example of what all servers should strive to be. It has so much detail all throughout it's hub and game-modes. It's a very immersive experience, and feels so charming and alive because of it's many custom entities like it's monorail, elevators, and even more than a dozen parkour levels. It's also a clear sign that the Hive really does care for it's community, by adding 2 of the most requested game-modes (Bridge & CTF), and the return and revamp of past loved games. It's evident that not only the Hive will continue listening to the community's feedback, and keep increasing the game selection and making the hub even more robust. I feel like the "trust" that has been lost in the community in the past year can finally be regained, and help the server start to see an upwards trend, maybe even enter another "golden age" akin to the late 2020-early 2021 era. I am so incredibly excited to see what the Hive has in store for the future, and I am glad that the Arcade and it's respective game-modes are getting the love they deserve to be amazing.

I haven't played much Minecraft Bedrock Edition or Minecraft in general, yesterday I sort of came back to it after a bit of time, and today with some people, I rejoined the **Hive** and WOW, it amazed me and it's REALLY cool to play with friends, not sure how long they had this, but the 7 or so player Skywars along with the Capture The Flag, Ground Wars(I think?) was really impressive. Congratulations to the Hive team for such an impressive update!

A really good and unbiased video. But one of the statements you made on Bridge was just wrong. I don't think that losing to a strat is a skill issue, especially just after release. It's possible to tower up when you spawn in and then bridge across so you don't fall down when you respawn, which isn't exactly skilful especially with leap kit as its almost a guaranteed win.

My favorite was capture the flag it's awesome and especially the map of capture the flag is outstanding. I like the way they added change on the basic. And the flag thing u told I experienced too but I expect them to fix it quick . I think bridge isn't perfect yet as I think bows kind of don't work properly and the golden apples I think are too much as in bridge people won't pvp that much that they will need 3 golden apple . The main thing that everyone does in bridge is to knock others down . And ground wars and block drop are great too . I think the time they took release a major game was needed but still in the mean time some damage had been done. And I don't say that the update is bad or not worth it, I think it's awesome but hive needs to quickly do a update to fix problem.

Whilst I obviously like the update a lot, I would say that apart from the old java modes, many of the modes seem to be tweaked verions of cubecraft's Capture the flag and hypixel's duels, so it just seems like they are trying to catch up with the 2 most played servers in minecraft

You’re allowed to not like a strategy even if your good at it. Like I I’m not a huge fan of triple rushers in bedwars because it shortens the game and removes a lot of the fun of trying to invade and protect bases because it’s usually being attacked when it has only wool on it. It also makes most of the items irrelevant. Despite that, I was actually pretty good at it whenever I did it with my friends. Granted I can’t say I know a lot about the bridge wars community, I’ve only played it a couple times and thought it was alright yet a little repetitive.

I get where you are coming from in capture the flag, however, I find the flag thing a cool strat. You can save your flag by stealing the enemy’s and then take on assasination mission to kill the opposite flag bearer. It adds more to the game in my opinion. I do conceed that this can prolong games, however I feel the pros out way the cons.

The bridge update was kind of disappointing, I think this update is kind of rushed because it isn't polished to the fact that it can be a fun pvp based game and not only spamming blocks below you. If you'd ask me, what can the Hive do to fix this? 1. Lend an ear to the community. Obvious answer. 2. Make the bridge wider and increase the number of blocks below. Wall running isn't possible when you can just get hit because you're in range of the enemy above you. 3. Remove the kits. It's not good for a game like bridge. Just make it like how the java bridge works. Simplistic games such as this shouldn't be made complicated. 4. You shouldn't place blocks in some parts of the map. Win10 players can basically bridge to the goal which removes the main purpose of the game. 4. More maps. As I said earlier, this update seems to be rushed that's why there's only 1 map. edit: I don't want people to say that I'm just hating the hive at this point, but I can definitely say ctf is a banger. 8/10 update ww

As someone who mains the bridge in other servers I think that the hive bridge isn't that good and there is a lot to improve like The high limit is bad, u can go up to ur cage The leap kit is to op u can avoid PvP by using it once and it make the game Les competitive And the water instead of the void is a new idea but I don't think it work good with the bridge bcuz u need to void fast if u want to save it goal But CTF is great and I think it's better then cube craft CTF

Bruh I thought the update kinda sucked. As a longtime bridge player, the Hive completely broke the game with the armor and mechanics, and you can't even vote for a map. Other than that, the other games besides block drop were very mid level, and I was hoping for so much with the actual games. Also, the CTF shop is so broken, as someone can just kill like 4 people and get stacked quickly which results in stupid fights. It sounded like a col idea, but turned out to be one of those "expectations vs reality."

3:15 ok so i have something to say about this. (also pls note i dont sweat bridge just watch it sometimes and know the basics) the thing is all u have to do u stair case up and bridge straight across the bridge to the other players island and u can land right in there goal. this strat can be broken even more with the leaper kit. its so annoying and is basically a free bypass but you would think "oh i can just void and ill be right back at my base" NOPE thx to hive and they're great feature water slowly ticking at your health! it now takes 5 secs to respawn and is almost impossible to counter bypasses. (other than this minor detail tho great video over all 420/69)

The thing I love about this gameomode is the fact that it’s got something for everyone unlike other games like skywars theirs something for everyone and that’s why it’s one of the best hive updates in a long time if not the best, it’s a shame they didn’t add a party games type of mode but it’s still a lot of fun and tons of content.

In my opinion I think the ground wars is not a change to add permenetly. It takes away the specialty of the game. Getting exited for a game that is rare to see is fun and enjoyable. While it might be annoying to lose it, that is what makes the game special.

one thing id like to see is being able to play bridge in a party. Because even when it is only 2ppl in a party it doesn't let you play cos of the sbm. me and my friend normally make our own world to play bridge together so we were looking forward to bridge but now we have to use the limited CSs . This Update its almost the Ultimate Proof that The Hive its the Coolest, and the Best Minecraft Bedrock Edition Server. The Quality in this Update its insane, and the games are solid and good. Even tho there is Space for improvement, this Update is, as Potato said, probably the Most ambisious Update that the Hive and even a Minecraft Server has ever had. The Arcade Hub is so good that when I log onto the Hive I honestly think the normal hub looks a little boring lol. There is so much to explore, there is room for roleplaying, for just admiring the beatiful art work etc. For me it was worth the wait..... (Btw Hive CTF is basically Cubecraft CTF but Hivestyle, thats honestly not so cool but like, bro... C'mon, dont be so dramatic about it. Idc what u say even though we waited for ever for it its a banger let's go through each game. Block drop is a banger power ups mix it up and its addicting. Bridge is a classic minecraft game and Hive made a great version of it. Ground wars I thought I wouldn't enjoy it bc I didnt like snow wars or turf wars however The imposter feature and upgrades are cool which make it a good game. Capture the flag despite the flag issue its really fun with a great map and just overall a really fun game. And the hub was so cool with the cars parkour and all the buildings.

If people are camping the flag, you can buy a fairly cheap tnt that for some reason like one shots everyone in a 3 mile radious

Add a much lower build height, nerf the kits, force players to “go across the bridge in a way” add duos, restrict the amount of blocks players can place (block spamming is a huge problem on the bridge and is very annoying to counter while also making there no pvp involved whatsoever) I recommend changing the blocks to 32 or so. Also for CTP they need to fix the FOV problem when capturing the flag (very annoying when fighting people and yes I know you can just change Gameplay doesn’t alter FOV in settings but I’m just speaking for the players who don’t do that) make like in ground/snow wars where certain people can get into a place while others can’t. Nerf speed berries (they are extremely overpowered) you could solve this by needing the speed berries and making them more expensive while also limiting the amount you can buy per game.and nerf the boom boxes which in CTF can one shot full irons no matter what. Change the shop prices a bunch in CTF (getting full iron in like 2min is waaay too overpowered). Finally (controversial) make it so when you die like in treasure wars you keep your armor but lose your sword/other items this could solve a lot and make it more balanced for what people have.

I disagree with the less blocks. Although if you did reduce it, it would fix the less spammy problem, it also reduces more strats such as block placements for pvp, winging, bypassing etc. Overall just keep the amount of blocks the same and i guess "deal" with block spamers.
