I mounted mine under the seat. Very easy to route and mount. Don’t have to worry about it getting wet. If you want to change settings, just raise seat and adjust. I don’t change settings on mine much though.

😊once again because of you… We ordered and received the Pedal Commander last night for my 2022 Can-Am spider RTL… The wifey Pooh and I installed it today. We’re going to take it for its first maiden run on sports plus one… Will comment again when we get back home.

For me another reason why we got the P C was- stock, the spyder felt like “lugg and go” when starting out. After our maiden ride with the pedal commander installed, it had power from the start. I agree with everything you said concerning this unit and I’m glad we bought and installed it!…by the way we attached it underneath the seat. And, we use sport mode +1

Absolutely enjoy watching your rides in February. My last ride was Nov 29th, we were lucky and had a very nice mild November up here, there are years where riding is done by mid October. Watching you southern folks ride during our winters is a treat, keeps the "can't wait to ride" juices flowing. I had a good chuckle watching John&Miriam's video this morning, he was out on a Feb ride, temp in the 60s, commenting that it was cool day & would have preferred riding in the 70s. Fills my head with... "if only"... "I wish"... but retirement is not too far down the road... and it'll be Southbound & Down.

I have the pedal commander and like it very much. No problem so far. I’m running sport mode in the middle. I will keep it for the long trip and plan to remove it if weather conditions don’t look good. Thanks for what you doing.

Glad you followed up on this product. Personally, I would remove it for a long trip. I've seen videos where add-on electronics throw codes if overheated or wired wrong. Although this product cannot be wired wrong, there is that slight possibility severe heat could cause a code and cause the bike to go into limp mode. Safety first, and this is not technically a safety feature. I love all the reviews on this product and am trying to convince my better half that it is now a necessity. :)

Just received mine, looking forward to installing it. Mounting position is something I am pondering, I have a cell phone mount in the center of the bars, there is enough room to mount it there (I hope). I plan on keeping it on the bike at all times. Other mounting option was glove box but I think it will get too hot. The blue tooth app may help in location and being able to hide the unit in the frunk. There is a water proof box coming out according to MartinTheVloger.

I mounted mine on the bottom of a power plate. And I brought the silicon cover for it.

Have 2021 S2S and the amount of throttle twist was just a little much for me, needed to reposition my grip after accelerating to speed. Installed the Pedal Commander to cut down on the amount of throttle twist. Did exactly what I wanted, 30% less throttle rotation for the same result. I run "City +3 and have the adj box mounted under the front seat. Plenty of room there, weather proof and I will just pop the seat if I want to adjust.

Hi Coach, I don't know if it's because I have a Spyder F3-T Limited but the worst mileage I have gotten was over 37 mpg and the best was just over 41 mpg. A lot of my driving is two up and I do use cruise control whenever possible. This is real numbers, miles divided by gallons over 5500 miles. Just saying it if someone else is wondering.

Still haven’t bought the Pedal Commander but it’s on my list. I did spend the same money on other items I’ve been wanting from Slingmods and will hopefully be installing them before Daytona in just a couple of weeks. Ride safe Coach!

I am ify now as I ride alone and am not mechanical, if I would leave it on or not. My original thought was to leave it on and waterproof it but I have to give it more thought now.

Zip lock bag over the power commander control during the rain? That's what I do with the iPhone. Also, how about those Knine Kenda's if you mounted those tires. That's the new Kenda Spyder tires.

When riding locally and it rains during the ride, do you change settings or turn the Pedal Commander off to prevent rear wheel slip?

I would run it in Sport mode lowest setting.. It isn't so radical that you're spinning and losing control. But...I would play around with it and find out what makes you most comfortable. Take it slow...and gradually build. Thanks for the question.

They have these for cars too. I honestly don't see the point, I'd rather just twist the throttle as much as I need too. You're better off doing a Power commander or a custom tune of some sort. You'll gain MPG doing that depending on how aggressive the tune is.

Just bought my sea to sky and as you know it has a sport mode. Would I gain any additional benefits installing a pedal commander?

It would make things different..not necessarily better. If I had a sport mode that made my RT accelerate faster I don’t think I would purchase a pedal commander. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel. 👍👍👍

It possibly could. I had a friend that "slung a code". He took it off and told the dealer something was up and never mentioned the PC. He was concerned that he was gonna be stuck. The issue was unrelated.. but, its always a lingering worry with things like this.
