My Thoughts On The Seiko5 SRPD79 Dive Watch

8/13/22: Bought mine on Ebay for $197.00 It was new but open box sale. Received it and it is flawless so perhaps I got lucky. I put a black ceramic GMT bezel insert on it along with a sapphire AR crystal with a day/date cyclops.

it does have lume but it's black lume and only last for a few seconds...... "Black Lume"......... go figure

I got mines for 96 dollars on Amazon yesterday. It was originally around $244 but if you sign up for the Amazon credit card they give you a $150 gift card. I signed up for the credit card and applied the gift card to the watch and it came out to $96 after taxes.

@@abc123simond the watch is good. It’s also accurate and automatic. Looks great in person. My only complaint would be the lume on that watch. I stopped wearing it only because I bought the seiko tuna.

whats the difference between this and the srpd73? is it just the colour and the band?

The band, the dial, and the case. This one is pvd coated and has an all black dial too
