Thanks for sharing! I wonder why the Bellroy Apex didn’t make it to the list? 🤔

It would be in the top 5. Probably next one in after the ones I mentioned.

@@jtinseoul7041 May I know the reason why the Apex has been relegated from being one of your top 2 backpacks two months ago to just being number 5 at the moment? Could it be due to usability/functionality or durability issues with the bag? Just hoping for some insights before I decide to make a purchase. Thanks!
@jtinseoul70413 жыл бұрын
I think any bag in my top 5 kinda rotates into different spots depending on my mood or what I'm carrying for a given time. The Apex hasn't like gone to number 15 or anything. It had a hard time standing up the last time I was using it with little in it and that annoyed me so it was doghoused a bit when I was filming this, ha.

Hey love your work!! What do you recommend as a dad/diaper bag should new fathers considers? As all diaper bags are design for the moms
@jtinseoul70413 жыл бұрын
There's one from a company called No Reception Club that I think a dad can wear proudly haha. Also, Dadsfanny is a good option for something small. Otherwise I'd recommend any bag that can hold more than you expect to need and that has at least one bottle pocket haha. Lately I've been using a Greenroom136 Rainmaker and it's been doing a solid job.

The DSPTCH was a sleeper bag. I dont think I have seen that one mentioned before. I am not entirely surprised by the #1 pick though lol. I wonder where the Phoenix will slot in. I was a little surprised by the North Street Weekender bag. Would you consider something like the Tom Bihn?
@jtinseoul70413 жыл бұрын
The Weekender is great in person. LOVE it. I have a Synik and a Synapse and the Synapse might be somewhere in my top 10 but not near number 3/4. The DSPTCH is every bit as good as the GR2 in actuality especially considering the price. The Phoenix issue for me is it is still a CPL and the pockets are still on the completely wrong side for how I use bags.

I actually like the front pocket a lot on the GR2. Not so much on the GR1. I find with the way I pack the GR2 the front pocket never feels tight like it tends to always do on the GR1.

I hesitate on buying the North St Weekender for so long and and now it's sold out everywhere... Mostly because of the laptop compartment and the straps. I have a North St Flanders and really like it. The straps are comfortable but a bit too long for my frame and it's more significant when I only wear t-shirt. I don't know if the straps on the weekender are the same or even slightly longer. And the laptop compartment: my 15.6'' HP fits in the Flanders no problems but it seems that would be more difficult with the weekender. I think the weekender fits a laptop up to 15'' (MBP) so it's too small for other 15'' or 15.6'' laptops.
@jtinseoul70413 жыл бұрын
I fit a 15 inch XPS in a sleeve in the Weekender no problem at all.. did you try one out to see if it would fit? The sleeve adds at least an inch onto that already chunky laptop. The compartment is surprisingly big.

To be honest I was using it with missionworkshop rambler at the time too which has a HT500 and I cant be sure which backpack fucked my jackets up. @@pmw5485 I have a Guerilla, and it is definitely easier on jackets…etc with the smoother material. I’ve seen several Guerillas with the molle on the shoulder straps, looks good. I think the owners sent their packs back to GoRuck and had it done through the SCARS program.
@jtinseoul70413 жыл бұрын
500D is definitely easier on clothes. The 500HT on MW bags definitely doesn't do much harm to clothes in my experience. Your best bet might be with a Guerrilla or a Heritage GR1 since those will be perfectly fine with clothes.

@PM W I heard there are talks of a GR2 for future collaboration with GoRuck and Carryology. I don’t know what that will look like or what it will be made out of.
