He could not have gone on a date with her and went with someone else. But she most likely wanted what she wanted and disregarded his preferences leading him on.

Where are you women like that? I have this problem like the other way around... I tried dating for a while after a long term relationship and the ladies really irritated when all i could say after our first date was if i would like to go on a second one...😅 Her timeline sounds pretty reasonable to me...
