Looks like an enormous amount of gear to me. My wife and i camp out of our 429 tinny with a tent we can stand in, 2 chairs and a table plus all the cooking gear and all of that fits up the front. Still have plenty of room to walk around when fishing. We camp off a motorcycle also so know how to keep the weight and bulk down.

Surely you wouldn’t leave the Epirb in the grab bag under the casting deck while in the boat, like mine in close east reach invade of an emergency!
@AusAdventure3 жыл бұрын
Mate in certain situations like crossing some coastal bars or in rough weather I have the bag out right next to me so it’s easy to access. But otherwise I want all my safety equipment in the one place and I am comfortable with it all under the casting deck. From my experience in a lot of emergencies like a capsize or collision there is not enough time to grab anything so people usually have to swim under the capsized vessel to retrieve the Epirb and safety gear. In a perfect world I would like it all stored in a Lifecell on a float free cradle but they take up a lot of room. Hope that explains why I do it that way. Thanks for watching.

Enjoying your vids. How long does your electric motor last on it’s battery please?
@AusAdventure2 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate. Well that depends on a lot of things like wind and sea conditions, how much weight is in the boat etc. On average it lasts a couple of days but if I use it all day it more like one day. I recently upgraded the battery to lithium and that doubled the run time and halved its weight so I would definitely recommend a lithium battery.
