Me and my husband took out the couch for the very same reason. Bought 2 recliners with fabric and bought 2 small tables to eat on. That works wonderfully. Putting your feet up is awesome! Make sure you stretch good before and after you go walking and listen to your body.

Since you live in your tiny RV you should go ahead and trade it in while it's new and get the one you want. Life is so short. Just do it! You will be so much more comfortable. It's not unusual after you've lived in one to find out what you really need for comfort.👍 I lived in my small motorhome for 20 years after I traded in my first one to get the one that had what I needed for comfort.

Hi, I hope you don't mind my two cents, RV's are made so cheaply, plus you'll get royally screwed on a trade in. The one you have has that wonderful counter across the back, and you will have no place for all those appliances and storage in the other one! I would tear out the current couch and buy a wall hugger reclining loveseat, and use a nice fold up TV tray/table for a table. You need comfortable seating more than anything! Good luck in your choice 🍀😊

I've dealt with RVs and travel trailers. I would never buy brand new. Its not worth the high price tag, very cheap materials. Save several thousands and buy a year or two older models. Your tiny home is adorable though Anthony. 💜

besides trading in and what they will offer because of depreciation, check into what you might get for selling it. Also check into having the couch removed and adding one or two chairs mounted in. Maybe some nice overstuffed chair from Ikea. The last one I bought for my son's room had a slipcover I can take off and wash. Giving him years more of having a clean chair.

Hi Anthony I am 80 spouse is 79. We watch you and we talk. My hub said You SHOULD talk with the RV place about trading back in your Rove Lite for the 16RB, and that they probably would do that for you, so you will get what you REALLY want and would be happy with. We did watch the 16RD walk thru video and The bed is the same size as the one you have now, so the mattress would fit. So heck yeah do it. AND for your opening, I'm sure lots of us miss you pulling up in your van and waving, and some of us (me) waving back. So hub said You should sit outside and have someone record going by and you waving at them. I LOVED that idea and back would be Your wave. Just thoughts, good luck and can't wait to see you in the 16RB, wink wink.

Summer u should put dark curtains and having a fan for circulation will help it helps so ur trailer is not stuffy the walls probably have that thin foam wrapped in silver foil like they sell at Home Depot. They don’t make them like they used to 😊

Just saw a tour of the Rovlight RB and it is well put together for the space. I totally agree with you regarding the bathroom. Love the dry bath and separation of the toilet. Plus I like the separation of the bedroom and there are windows to help with circulation. Think about what is most important to you and then make your decision. Maybe you can rent one for a wknd to get a feel for it before making a final decision! Get what you want!

Lord please bless, protect, and heal Lamont. Anthony, I know that this can be hard for you. I have a friend that's been in my life since 86. She is in a wheelchair now and I suffer from back pain ( with several surgeries under my belt) on a cane. Too see someone that you love become debilitating hurts. They have been in your life through good and bad. No one knows you like they do, in fact they are no longer friends, they are your brother or Sister. It's genuine Love. I tell you, my friend (sister) might be in a wheelchair, but she lives her life. I told her that she handles that thing like she should be in the special Olympics. Meanwhile, she's laughing at me on my cane trying to keep up with her. Bless your heart, and may your life and spirit continue to soar. Btw, Shanice had a song titled I Love Your Smile. I want you to know that I Love your Chuckle.❤❤❤

What's missing from the the Rove light 16RB is there is no storage in the bedroom! They could put a closet or you can add a skinny standup clothes closet or put a box the same size of the mattress under it for storage! But I love that RV too! That bedroom is large!

Thanks for your review of the camper Anthony. However, I don't like that RB layout. You definitely lose valuable countertop space and it seems closed in and cramped. I've watched several walk thru videos and they seem dark when the doors are closed up. Too many walls make the main space really small. I think your layout is perfection. That back counter has two of your "must haves" and you would lose that in the RB. I think your little Tiny Home is perfection just the way it is. Hugs from NE Ohio.

Very carefully check out trading in for another unit-- you will unfortunately lose your shirt on a trade in. Just a suggestion --You could look into taking out the couch if it would not affect the wall structurally & is not used for water pump electrical, equipment etc & put in regular furniture like recliners. I would also suggest you go to a dealer & actually go into the one you are looking at & sit that table for more than a few minutes. I find those built-in bench seats with table to also be uncomfortable after a short time.

My dad got dementia and he used to ask me the same questions over and over and I would just answer him over and over he only knew me and my kids he didn’t remember anybody else in my family but he was always with me and my kids maybe that’s I would talk about the past and it would trigger his memory.

Good afternoon, Anthony. Sending healing prayers for your friend Lamont. For your sofa, you may want to take the back and seat cushions to put a upholstered an purchase a better grade of foam. Doing this will make it comfortable for you to sit on for a long periods of time. If you have room for a small ottoman to put your feet on after you finish your meal it will feel even better while working or watching movies. Another suggestion for your cabinets they sell molding material that can prevent chipping of the wood on the bottom and corners of cabinets. At your age, you deserve to have the best of whatever there is out there that you like within your financial budget.

And a compliment to you Anthony, you look so much slimmer in your profile from your head to your chest. You can actually see the difference. So, keep on doing what you are doing. Your RV probably came with a warranty and from what I have seen Nomadic Introvert do with her RV van, she got as much as she could get fixed under that warranty. Perhaps look into whether or not you can do an exchange or an upgrade or whatever they would call it.

Hi Anthony! Since you're not spending on a plot of land you could coat the entire trailer in a bedliner-type coating to help with temperature control. Regarding the other floor plan that you're enamored with, consider that you might load it to a level that your minivan cannot safely pull. If you're okay with the possibility that you might need to trade the minivan for an SUV, go for it!

We own a jayco. They aren’t typically built light, but every camper is cheaply manufactured. Hot and cold is the same in most campers. Before we bought, we went in and out of all the campers on the lot to feel the temp differences to see which were better insulated.

Hey Anthony sorry to hear about Lamont's 3rd stroke. I've never seen you have Damp Rid on your grocery runs. If you're not already dealing with moisture just from showering you will especially when it's cold and you have to use heat. You should get the buckets at least one and in the winter I would recommend 2 to help prevent mold. Also since you're plugging into electric most of the time you should buy a small or medium size heater. You'd be surprised how they can warm up that small area and you're not paying an electric bill at the camp grounds. Then you don't have to use your furnace and propane. Ha should have finished watching you have a small heater😂. Until next time ✌🏾.

U might have to get a canopy to go over the whole entire trailer so that it can last longer without water eventually becoming a problem

Anthony, it's your life and living in the trailer full time, Get what you really want. I totally understand that you are happy with the RV you are currently living in. I would get you a small humidifier. The trailers get very wet when the weather changes. I remember living in a FEMA trailer after Katrina. But at the end of the day, you what works best for you.
