Thank u for all these awesome tips!!❤ question: so deff do an eye line off to the side even when they are starring right at u via zoom? And do u use ur camera or laptop when u do urs?

GREAT QUESTION. For actors using a stand alone camera like I do, I stand about 5-6ft from the lens. So off to the side a little bit is perfect. If you’re using a laptop and standing about 1-2ft from the laptop then off to the side is WAY TOO MUCH. At that point you’ll probably have to look an inch or two from the lens. The thing with eyelines is where to look or HOW FAR OFF TO THE SIDE TO LOOK depend SO MUCH on how far away from the camera you are. The closer you stand to the lens, the shorter the distance off to the side. Ill practice my eyelines before the callback and make sure they are placed in a way that makes my eyes look exactly like the audition :) ❤️❤️❤️❤️
