Thank you! Here's a rough summary: 1. Don't overthink questions 2. Read and break down questions so they are clear in your cranium (should have lots of time) 3. Read, answer, then re-read question & adjust answer if required 4. Use your body kinesthetically to recall orientations, motions, muscles, etc. 5. Relax; train to be cool, calm, collected 6. Learn to trust yourself (assuming you've done due diligence haha) 7. Listen to your sensei another idea: when studying, make up your own (creative) questions reflecting what you are least comfortable with

As both an anatomy 2 student and the anatomy tutor, I’ve seen so many students over the past few semesters drop out or flunk anatomy. For students with lower grades, it seems to be testing anxiety and/or poor test taking skills that are really the culprits. I love this video so much because I feel like you sum up the main reasons why many students struggle, and your advice is excellent. Every person I’ve shown this video to says it was helpful. Just thought you should know that! Love all your videos!

I've only just found you a couple weeks ago. I avoided this particular video due to digging into your anatomy videos BUT I am so glad I watched. I found it extremely helpful. I am a first year massage therapist student and truly struggling with anatomy. Thank you and I truly appreciate your time and investment in others who could possibly find your wisdom helpful.

You have been saving my life in Bio Labs and in general this semester. I have ADD and my lab professor just lets us go alone- and i need direction and teaching desperately. Thank you, because of you i'll be able to keep my GPA high despite enduring a particularly difficult semester for me! I'm sadly looking at a B even though I am driven for A's. But if it wasn't for you I couldn't even claim that this time around. Thanks for doing what you do and for your passion and personality!!!

My tips for preparation for anatomy exams would be and how I got 80% of my physiotherapy anatomy multiple-choice exam: 1. Make sure you plan out the number of weeks you have until the exam and then timetable the topics into that time 2. Review your anatomy notes ONCE to refresh your memory on the area 3. Use diagrams (with the answers hidden) to test your knowledge of where the muscles are 4. Use flashcards to practice actively recalling muscles actions (e.g. on the front: the muscles involved in [insert action e.g. flexion] of the [Insert anatomical area] are... on the back: write the answer. Review these using spaced repetitions and focus upon the ones you have the most difficulty recalling (without neglecting the ones you know well) 5. With attachments learn the simplest explanation first then add detail later when you can recall the very basic attachments e.g. scalene anterior (see below) origin = transverse process of C3-6 Insertion = the first rib 6. Ask for help if you are struggling with a specific anatomical area. Another great video with anatomy learning tips: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z5_IdKN6apVnmbc

God bless you sir. One of the finest men I have come across on the internet. I pray that I get to meet you and shake your hand one day. I am in final year of med school and your videos are the only thing that helps me recapitulate and understand surgical anatomy for my Final year surgery and ortho papers.

Just watched your videos on the coronary arteries and the aorta. Found them very, very interesting. Why? Not just your great style/approach but also because in the past 3 years I have had 4 major medical crises, 2 of which involved the aorta and coronary arteries. The first was an aortic dissection Type B with occurred immediately downstream of the left subclavian artery. Because of that hazardous location it has been dealt with only by blood pressure meds - no surgery. So far so good. The second, about 18 months later, was a massive heart attack involving 3 blockages in the LAD. That was a 'fun' night - got a fast trip in a wailing ambulance followed by the placement of 3 stents. The procedure took only a few minutes - amazing! In between these two events I was also diagnosed with interstitial lung disease and lung cancer. The latter resulted in a lobectomy of the lower right lobe. Fortunately it was caught early - stage 1 -2. So, you can see why I enjoyed your videos. Keep up the good work.
