Yes! And all they had to do was having Clary have flashbacks of her life with Jace when She touched his neck and then say "Jace!" in a way that let us know that she remembers him and then kiss him and then they could have ended the way it did with the zooming out. It would only be like one minute extra.

Shreya Pandit basically Simon loses his memory instead of clary. He goes to regular life but names his band the moral instruments. He has some memory of the shadow world so therefore magnus was able to give him some of his memory back. He ends up going to the Shadowhunter academy and ascending to become a shadow hunter. As for jace and clary, they get their happy ending.

Honestly I hated the ending of shadowhunters and there was an article saying how the ending of shadowhunters was actually perfect, but I said to myself the ending was not perfect. I would loved it so much if they made more seasons of Shadowhunters, then we could've seen Clary and Jace get married and move in together and have their first child and just have a family together. That would've been the perfect ending and the best thing for Clary and Jace because they deserve such happiness

Jace tells Simon that he prays the angels to give him back his love so it looks like they heard him and slowly Clary is recollecting everything and is turning into a shadowhunter from mundane and obviously and eventually she will be back.
