Ray first, Matthew Wolfenden (who isn't even on this list) second and Sam third for me. Hayley was a very good performer rather than skater and Chris flattered to deceive because his spins were actually better than most professionals as they were always drilled to the spot but other than that he was quite lumbering.

For me, this is missing a few key people: Chris Fountain, Suzanne Shaw, Matthew Wolfenden. These were all fab skaters and performance wise better than the like of Jennifer Metcalfe & Kieron Richardson.

Chris and Suzanne I didn't see their season which is also why Gareth Gates and/or Zaraah Abrahams isn't on the list. Matthew Wolfenden just was another pretty boy good at skating, he never had a wow factor for me.

I agree that Hayley should be no.1 I called it even before I saw the video., for that very performance of Jai ho. Ray Quinn is phenomenal as well. But I can’t understand why Suzanne shaw didn’t make the list she did the headbanger on 3 occasions better than the professional in my opinion. Good video I’m a die hard DOI fan. And the last few seasons their hasn’t been any wow performances

If you look at Hayleys Jai Ho, she's either being pushed around the ice by Dan, or stood in one spot just moving her arms. Ray was by far the best skater/performer

Overall I have no problem with your choices. I personally would put Ray Quinn as number 1, but that is my opinion. The only question I have for you is why is Chris Fountain not in this list. He was at least equal to Sam Attwater.

I have to admit I fully agree with choosing Hayley as number 1. Although Ray was better in the 2014 champions series, Hayley's 2009 performance Jai Ho continues to be probably the best performance the show has seen. I had honestly forgotten most of these contestants so this was really refreshing

It is all about personal choice and while I think Hayley can dance and has good movement on the ice, she barely done as much ice staking especially on her own unlike many of the other previous winners. The dance that you picked to show Hayley as your no.1 is a memorable one with a great song choice. For my choices it's a tie between Ray and Chris. Top woman would be Jorgie.(although alias she was beaten by the better ice dancer). Even though I didn't like her because she beat Chris to win the title, I considered Suzanne a much better ice dancer than Hayley. Thank you for showing your choices as it made me remember about others that had faded from memory.

Kieron was excellent and constantly derided by Jason but he deserved his third place that year. Jennifer Metcalfe in the top 10? Seriously? As for scoring with her skating professional, the poor girl was unceremoniously dumped for another of his later partners who he went on to marry. Beth Tweddle deserves a far higher placing than 8th. One of the best and most daring skaters on the show ever and one of the best performers, who even with her athletic build was graceful. Jorgie Porter? Are you serious? What part of your anatomy are you thinking with? The best non-winner was Jessica Taylor-Petersen by leagues. Gareth Thomas. Now, you're talking. Though he was hardly "the first rugby player to be able to give a skating performance". Where were you in 2007 when Kyran Bracken won the series? Chemmy Alcott was very good. It was often difficult to tell who was the professional and who was the celebrity in that partnership but, for someone whose profession is skiing, she was surprisingly safe in her moves. Danniella Westbrook was pants. On the plus side, had she slipped, she wouldn't have damaged her nose. Sam Attwater was a very elegant skater. John Curry to Ray Quinn's spectacular Robin Cousins style. Ray Quinn at #2? What were you watching? He's by a clear mile the best skater to ever appear on the show. The only ones who came close were Kyran Bracket, Sam Attwater and particularly Matthew Wolfenden (who isn't even in your top 10, who was the only other contestant the judges felt could have been a champion skater had he taken the sport up at an early age kzbin.info/www/bejne/gGXTi3WIaqeHfac and who would have been the only one to give Ray Quinn any competition had the Emmerdale producers released him for 'Battle of the Champions'). Her skating skill was average despite being the only celebrity in the show's history who had been a competitive skater at junior level, having been Daniel Whiston's junior partner for many years until she was deemed not good enough to compete seriously as an adult.
