It is because the riff from Sweet Child Of Mine is a sort of finger practice thingy Slash was doing and the band liked it so much they ended up using it in the song, same applies to the one in the vid, just changed up a little

Rolling Shutter Effect...I've seen some tutorials on how to achieve this effect. Looks super cool !!

Barti it’s not so much rolling shutter here . The apparent slow vibration of the strings is caused by the frame rate of the camera nearly perfectly aligning with the strings vibrations . The rolling shutter would make the strings look wavy kinda like a wave form

The strings look wavy only because of the frame capture method (Rolling Effect)...in which only a portion of the total image is scanned at a given time. Of course...the effect would not be so cool if you don't slow down the fps a little bit.

Barti the strings look loose because the frame rate matching I explained earlier . The rolling shutter effect would make the string look “curly” which is not really visible in this case
