I bet that .410 has gotten a lot of rabbits and squirrels and quail in it's day! Your not being sappy Misha, your reminiscing and appreciating the blessings of having your family who support you.

While I've shown it on my personal channel some, I've not really talked about it on this one much. Its time to take it out and shoot it, and since it is me, I can go into the pretty interesting history of the Model 94C & Stevens-Savage too.

Misha if you were more of a target shooter and reloader you would probably move that AG42 up the list. They are just so accurate and fun shooters. I've got huge amounts of 6.5 x 55 cartridges and tons of brass so ammo is not an issue. I have several other great shooters in this caliber.

I inherited the same Steven’s model from my grandpa. It was in bad shape, but I got it fixed up by a really good smith and gifted it to my nephew as his first gun.

My first firearm purchase was at a flea market in the late 1980's. I was 16 years old and paid $100 cash for a No. 5 "Jungle Carbine". I think they were asking $125.00, but gave me a discount because it was the end of the day and they wanted to get rid of it. I didn't know anything about Lee-Enfield rifles at the time, but thought it looked cool with the flash hider and the 10 rd. magazine. I lived around the corner and down the street from where the flea market was located, so I walked home with it. Imagine if a teenage boy was seen walking with a military firearm along a fairly busy road today, what the response would be. There would be multiple 911 calls, a convoy of police cars and tactical response vehicles, and a swarm of law enforcement officers and SWAT personnel in body armor (along with paramedics & fire rescue). In the late 80's however, I simply walked home without causing any alarm or panic, and spent the rest of the day studying and enjoying my first collectible military rifle. Boy I miss those days!

I have a few similar stories myself. Walking home after buying my first P99 at a gunshop down the street from my house, picking up a sword in the local mall as a 16 y/o lol, getting onto the plane for the first time with not 1 but 3 guns I'd bought while on vacation lol.

It is difficult to get rid of any that you own

Sometimes yes, but sometimes if I'm just not feeling it for a gun, its not too bad. Always bigger and beter things out there to look for.

How do you feel about the new(ish) Zastava M77 308 rifle?
@misha567010 ай бұрын
Nothing...i mean its like the original, just with more classic (and IMO classy) wood furniture. A good, solid gun but me personally? I don't need another .308 in the stable.

A very cool collection. The M1 Carbine made me jelly. I will forever be sad that I wasn’t able to collect one before prices became outrageous.
