Maybe next year you could add some new different categories such as: -your favorite tutorial video -your favorite artist that specializes in props that are not just poi -your favorite personality/humor/lifestyle content creator - your favorite location video, for example someone spinning in a national park, or in front of really cool urban scenery -your favorite duet/partner flow video -your favorite newcomer -your favorite intermediate/beginner poispinner -your favorite festival flow video -your favorite challenge or other community building event -your favorite costume/makeup I love that the culture of sharing our poi flow has space for us to connect on many different levels

This is very cool and I love Vanna Spears she has an amazing flow. Thank you for sharing this. One of my favorite poi spinners is antispinner and I always love seing when katya uploads tutorials or just flowing.

Hell yeah. Awesome to see Vanna in there. I've only met her a couple times, but I'm a bit involved in the Texas flow fam (as a prop maker, not a performer, though I hope your channel helps me bridge that gap a little bit - shout out to my Pyrotex fam!) and I know she's a big part of it. I've enjoyed watching her flow on social media and in person for a while. She did this flow thing on roller skates that really piqued my interest and I've loved watching her ever since seeing that video. Every video she posts seems like it contains at least one new thing I've never seen before. Check her out!

If you want to conduct something like this why don’t you do it like luke burrage does. We have seen time and time again that your opinion is just that. Your opinion, many of us don’t share it. Rather than posting who you think are the best why don’t you ask your audience what they think? You could post a video annually with nominations and see who gets the most votes every year. Would be very interesting to see who we are the most inspired by rather than what you think all the time

Man, the funniest thing about this is that the first time I got cancelled by the Flow Community, it was for creating the Top 10 List. I got raked over the coals for creating a “popularity contest” that fed egos and enabled some of the worst parts of the community. I swore up and down for years that the list had value as a historical document even as evidence mounted that it led to incidents of bullying by people who made the list taking that as a sign that they had special status in the community. Along the way one of the most common suggestions I got (aside from expanding it to more slots so even more shitty young guys in the community could get their egos flattered) was to do a list of my personal favorites. It’s really wild how the things that people complain about over time both change and stay the same. And how a person can insist that my opinion is unimportant but that theirs is sacred.
