I haven't been super interested in watching most of season 11, but I'll admit that the episode from the point of view of Baby had me SUPER tempted to go back and watch it. I might go watch at least that one once the season gets on Netflix... But so many people have told me season 11 was much better than 9 or 10!

Merlin was the first show I was really obsessed about. And I still love it, definitely one of my favorite shows! Also, Sherlock, Supernatural, Gossip Girl, Game of Thrones, The 100, Outlander, Psych, HIMYM and Dr. House. These are my Top 10 (not in order).

Yesssss Psych! I love seeing Psych get some love. I adore that show. I was rewatching some episodes with my sister this summer and I fell in love with it all over again. I agree with what you said about Supernatural, but I just refuse to give it up. Lol. It just holds a very special place in my heart and I know that after season 5 it started to get weaker and weaker and Destiel will probably never happen, but I just can't let it go. I will be there till the very last episode no matter what. I even find myself making up excuses for the seasons getting weaker and even forcing myself to love them regardless. What can I say? I've been obsessed since September 13, 2005. Lol.

The first episode, with the Ninth Doctor and Rose, is really rough. It is much more fun to go back and watch once you actually get to know the show and the tone, but when you watch it initially it can be so hard to get through. But I really think you should keep trying! I think it took watching the 2nd and 3rd episodes, and getting to know Rose, before I really got it and fell in love. Gilmore Girls and HIMYM are both really wonderful too!!! I adore them.

Excellent choices! Pushing Daisies, we knew it was coming but that was heartbreaking to know we wouldn't get more. I think the only other favorites that I have that still run are Modern Family and Big Bang Theory. Other favorites which sadly went away too fast but I think EVERYONE needs to watch are Better Off Ted, Dead Like Me, Wonderfalls, and Chuck. Again, gorgeous writing, wit, and wordplay. PLEASE PLEASE PLEAS watch them! I'm sorry in advance because again, that's it but please do. Totally worth it. With a line as lovely as "full frontal nerd-ity" how can that not be a win?!

I cannot agree with you more about Supernatural, I tried SO HARD to keep going and once I realized halfway through season 10 i didnt care about the plot anymore and couldnt even remember what was happening or what i was supposed to be invested in, I had to stop. season 8 gave me so much hope that spn was back on the right track after seasons 6 and 7 fell flat, then kind of immediately derailed when s9 started and they just, started killing some of the most loved characters for no reason. I was so into spn that i went to a Supernatural convention to meet the actors (and where i met my best friend in the entire world!), i cosplayed, i read. so much destiel fanfiction. and it still holds a special place in my heart, but the Supernatural I knew and loved is over. My favorite show is Psych, and if you haven't watched it I definitely recommend it, it's funny and clever and just, something that's really unique? it's over now, but I've rewatched it tons of times and it's still so great. I also love Buffy a lot and need to continue rmy rewatch! I paused mid season 3 because I'm always rolling my eyes at Angel, but the later seasons and Spike are really what solidify it as one of my all time favorite shows.

Your feelings on Supernatural are my exact feelings on Supernatural WOW. I managed to keep watching until the end of season 10, but that was it! The death. The one death. That was enough for me to never forgive the show. So, exactly like you said, it will always hold a place in my heart, but I just can't even kind of deal with any season after season 8. I had such high hopes after season 8. I was so crushed. And yesssss Psych! I adore Psych. That is one of the only shows I started watching when the very first episode ever premiered, and I watched every season live after that. I'm pretty sure Lost and Psych are the ONLY two shows that has ever happened with. And Psych is unbearably clever. I just rewatched some episodes with my sister this summer and fell in love with it all over again.

I've only seen a few episodes of Scrubs and Rick & Morty, but I agree they are both really great! And definitely funny. I would definitely watch more of both shows. I adore Firefly, and it would be one of my honorable mention shows. Sometimes I think about Serenity and I cry honestly. I haven't seen Death Note (I'll be honest, I have a really hard time getting into anime) but I've heard great things! My best friend really loves it and she always used to try to get me to watch it.

Serenity was beautifully concluded. Damn the corporate b**tards for ending the show so early! I admit I had a hard time getting into anime as well. But reading Manga & stuff like all the Studio Ghibli movies & Ghost in the Shell really got me into anime as an adult. I would recommend getting started with the MIyazaki directed Ghibli movies - all are amazing but good ones to start are Whisper of the Heart, Princess Mononoke, MY Neighbour Totoro & Grave of the Fireflies.

Ayy I'm a hardcore Merthur shipper as well. The end completely killed me. I remember crying and I'd never cried so much for a TV show, like, ever. Funnily enough, my mom introduced Merlin to me and she had the first three seasons, so she gave those to me and said I _had_ to watch it. I ended up cry-yelling at her after I finished the show and she just snickered back at me, but I'd also heard a lot about it on Tumblr so I figured it was worth giving a shot. What a show. I'm also Johnlock trash too. I discovered the show right after season 2 came out as well, so now I'm just really good at waiting for shows lmao. When the American shows I follow take a break for a couple months I'm like pfft, NBD. What's a couple months to _2 years_. With Doctor Who, I watched the first episode of season 7 when it premiered live because my friend was going to and I didn't want to miss that Tumblr party on my dashboard (that was legit my reason. Also.. I was mad bored). I knew nothing much of the show but really enjoyed it so I decided to give it a try. I went back to Season 1 with Nine and fell in love. Completely. I think David will always be my favorite doctor though. I just didn't want to let him go, which is why when I started season 5 with Eleven I found it a bit hard to readjust to him. But I loved Eleven as well. OMG. Torchwood being described as heterobaiting. Couldn't agree more. xD Also.. I think I want to watch Pushing Daisies now.

It took me a while I like Eleven after David left, but he just won me over by the time season 7 came around. He impressed me SO MUCH with some of those episodes. And now when I rewatch his first season I just adore him. But ten may always be my favorite. David Tennant is just too good, and season two with him and Rose is my favorite season of the whole show. and YESSSSS please watching Pushing Daisies it's so good!!!!

Have you watched Your Lie in April and The Man in the High Castle ? Your Lie in April goes about a pianist teen called Kousei Arima ( " arima " in my language, Basque , means soul ) that lives frustrated , lost since her mother's death and since his last performance at 12 years old ( two years ago before the story ), where he didn't play as well as he wished. Therefore , he decided to quit the piano. But one day an optimist girl arrives, Kaori Miyazono, at his life and she'll help him in his struggle ( also his friends Ryota and Tsubaki ). This show teaches you to face life ( in this case the example is music ), among other things. The Man in the High Castle goes about the USA after WW II. But in this case the Japanese and the Nazi have won. So the world is built in another way ( Western USA for Japan and Eastern USA for the 3rd Reich, with a neutral zone between them ) . However, is it all real? Some "secret" films will show the people the answer.

So many great shows! I also love HIMYM, Downton Abbey, & Game of Thrones even though they weren't on my list. Downton Abbey is just... so well written I cry. My sister loves The Fosters! She is always recommending it to me. As far as In the Flesh, I have really wanted to watch it (I mean, queer zombies. I'm so there for that), but then I heard it got cancelled and ended on a bit of a cliffhanger and that made me nervous?? Any confirmation on whether I will be broken if I watch it and there isn't a satisfying ending?

ProblemsofaBookNerd Oh yeah, Downton Abbey has me crying a lot (mostly because of Thomas, he doesn't deserve all this). Listen to your sister! The Fosters really is that great! Concerning In The Flesh I can only say that those nine episodes were totally worth it. Of course we all want a new season and not everything has been resolved at the end but I can't remember a huge cliffhanger. Maybe that's just because I always tend to forget the ending of like everything (even books)... But honestly, go watch it (please)! It's really really worth it and it will only break your heart a little. Like in a good way.

1. Buffy is amazing, and you need to check out ThePassionoftheNerd's episode analysis here on youtube, they're amazing. 2. Supernatural was originally intended as a 5 season arc, which is why S6 and S7 are shaky, they were trying to figure out where to go from there. I have a friend who says S6 is the buffer season and S7 is the first season of the SPN spin-off. 3. PUSHING DAISIES. YES. I. I JUST. YES. 4. Current favorite TV shows include Galavant, Leverage, and Murder She Wrote.

Oh yeah, I absolutely know that SPN struggled because it had no idea what it wanted to do after finishing off the projected arcs of the show. I just kept waiting them to get their feet back under them and I was so sad when it never really happened. Although, season 8 is my second favorite of the whole show so they did figure something out for a while there! Also, Galavant is amazing. I mean just UGH I adore the first season of that show so much. I still listen to the soundtrack constantly.

DESTIEL AND MERTHUR YESSS. and with supernatural, I completely agree! season 4 will forever be my fave (castiel is one of the best things the show ever did) and so many of my favorite characters died after and during season 5! (SPOILER: i will never be over the Harvelles. N E V E R.)

That show killed me slowly with all of the character deaths. But the Harvelles were just mean. Just MEAN. I think season 5 is my favorite, just for the mythology and the character growth. And then season 8 because it has some of my all-time favorite episodes, but season 4 comes after that. Introduction of my boy Castiel. My forever fave.

If you haven't watched Primeval then you should really check it out. It's my second favourite show after Doctor who and its incredible. The ships are great and don't judge it on what the premise of the show is, it's so much better then you'll think.

Lost: I agree wholeheartedly. Excellent show Merlin: Never watched Sherlock: Never watched Crazy Ex-girlfriend: Never heard of :) Buffy: Tried watching, but couldn't get into it Friends: Never liked this show. Too melodramatic. It was on after Seinfeld for a few years, which was the gold standard at that time Legend of Korra: Never watched Supernatural: Never watched Doctor Who: I just can't get into it. Like you said, it was hard for you at first. Where as you were finally able to appreciate it, I never could see it's appeal. which is too bad because I'm a sci-fi nerd. Pushing Daisies: Never watched. I thought Doctor Who would be your number 1, but when you made it number two, I knew this one would be number one. P.S. Why no Game of Thrones? My personal favorite of all-time is The Sopranos. Tony Soprano would kick the shit out of any of your top ten! :D

I love Merlin, Merthur is definitely my otp of that show. I agree that Supernatural did get really bad after the 8th season they kind of ran out of ideas in my opinion. Some of my favorite shows at the moment and of all time are Sense 8, Game of Thrones which is definitely in my top ten, Gossip Girl, Bleach, 24.

I freaking adore Merlin! Hadn't the time to rewatch but I will forever and ever ship Merthur. I think too Supernatural is stretched too much... I adore the firct 7-8 seasons too but... I somehow got the feeling that no interesting plot is coming anymore ^^

Lost-I liked the first 3 seasons. But i think it whent downhill after that. Would not be in my top 10 Merlin- Never seen it, Sherlock- Never seen it Crazy Ex-Girlfriend- Never seen it. Buffy the Vampire Slayer- Great show. But would not be in my top 10 Friends- Great show, But would not be in my top 10 Legend of Korra- Good show, Would not be in my top 10. Yes, SHERLOCK is the BEST! Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman is the best Sherlock/Watson pair ever! I think Sherlock is in my top 3 though. Buffy The Vampire Slayer is so high on my list as well. I loved that show, and my absolute favorite character through the whole show was Xander! Friends is my comfort blanket! I love it I put it on when I'm ill or when I'm sad or when I first moved out etc. I'm a sucker for the TV show Once Upon a Time though, because I love fairy tales. I haven't watched the last season though, because things got a little weird, and then it's something that I watch with my sisters when we have time to marathon a couple of episodes :)

That's so funny, I think it's really rare to see people say their favorite character from Buffy is Xander! My personal favorite is Willow, for sure. And I also really love Buffy and Giles! I used to adore Once Upon a Time for sure. It is just so much fun, and I loved all of the fairy tales mixing together. But I kind of couldn't handle it anymore once Frozen characters started appearing XD I can still totally see the appeal, though. It's a super fun show.

I know. I think it didn't happen until I rewatched the show a couple of years ago on Netflix. I just like how he always stayed true to himself, and he was always there for Buffy. He was super funny. I also loved Willow, although she got through some weird periods, where I had some issues with her. Yes, Giles was awesome. When I watched the show the first time I loved Angel. He annoyed me a little later on. I know the whole Frozen thing was a little weird, but I still think they handled it alright.

I love Supernatural so much I'll watch it till the end.And Dean is the straightest man on the planet and him and Castiel are like family.There has never ever been anything remotely romantic between them.Both characters have only been with woman.Why do people ship straight characters together it makes no sense.I don't agree with shipping a gay character with a straight character.Straight is straight,gay is gay,bi is bi.I'm done venting now.

I think the reason that people ship characters, especially shipping them in same sex relationships, is because there really aren't many on TV and we want to see more of those relationships represented! I personally headcanon Dean as being bisexual, and I would argue Cas is pansexual. Cas, especially, I am frustrated by in the show because as an angel is makes no sense to me that he would have any specific connection to any one gender. Anyway, my personal feelings on shipping and headcanons for characters' sexualities is just that LGBTQIA+ people have an extreme desire to see themselves represented in media, so we make do with what's out there and it becomes just hopeful thinking that things will be better in the future.

Pushing Daisies is such a great show... Some people have a lot of issues with his writing of female characters in the Marvel movies. A lot of people really hate his writing of Black Widow, and in general I think he's just said some stuff online that has made a lot of people turn against him. But I still adore so much of the stuff he's done. And I also think some of the criticism he's gotten has been a little intense, personally.

Noticed you don't have any anime in your top 10. I haven't seen The Legend of Korra, but I know it draws inspiration from Fullmetal Alchemist. I say it because maybe you'd like to try it, the protagonist is not as interesting as Korra, I think, but the secondaries are great and get a lot of development and screen time. The world creation is excelent too. If you decide to give it a try, make sure you watch the one from 2009.
