I know the licensing would be a nightmare, I know you already have 2 different Spans, but Pokespan would probably cause me to drive all the way to St. Louis for pickup, just to get it 2 days faster, and I already own and love Wing and Wyrmspan :)

Made me laugh when you suggested all the cards in a Greenspan game would have Mr Greenspan on them, because in my mind I'm thinking, "Here he is in a chicken costume, here he is with a baseball cap and a pipe, or one with scribbled on by a marker of mustache and glasses. This is a game you could really get goofy with.

That’s funny that #1 was “Wormspan” because the very first thing I thought of when Wyrmspan came out was a Dune themed Wormspan…not earthworms but rather the worms of Arrakis! Instead of eggs, you have spice!

though thematically, I can picture that each row on the player mat is a "river" that bridge cards in "Span Span" are crossing... I think to make a game about bridges actually interesting (speaking only for myself, lol), you would need to add in your building mechanics from Between Two Cities (or maybe Between Two Castles). I have no idea how that would work of course, lol

The reason Catspan would not work is not because the eggs don’t fit in thematically. It is because the very concept of putting cats where you want them and having them stay there for an hour or two just because that’s where you put them makes no sense

Vikingspan instead of habitats you have longboats. You can then load vikings at other stuff onto the boats. Thematically each one sails somewhere different to gain a different resource.

That chocolate is really cool. Wish shipping wasn’t so much out of state. The memes are great. I think think Span span would be interesting by connecting bridges. I think Brass: Wyrmingspan was the best play on words but the two Scythes being used as wings was great on Scythespan

My friends and I have always thought that you could reskin Wingspan to be Dinosaurs with the 3 areas be like time periods (Jurassic, Cretaceous, etc) But overall all of these memes were great.

It was pretty close between dragons and dinosaurs when we conceptualized a more complex version of Wingspan. Though we were never interested in a reskin--if we're going to make something, it's going to be something new, not the exact same game with different art and names.

Would definitely buy Pokespan if you could get a licence. Would prefer the poke evolutions to expand on the play a card over an existing laid card, rather than a pure reskin. Definitely room for expansions as you move through the generations of pokes too... :-)

Funny puns, and I don't think I'd seen any of these before! If you expand Wormspan beyond earthworms, there are some pretty crazy ones from a wide variety of "habitats" that could be used (also with a wide variety of sizes🪱) Some parasitic examples could create interesting player interactions 😬
