Flip 7 shouldn't change anything about that packaging - it's so good. Intriguing design, flashy chrome, small box. I'd buy it for sure

My fave game from the last month is Kelp - gorgeous 2P game which lived up to our expectations!

Hey Jenna 😊 I like the video - as I always do. And those were some great games you played. My favorite game in August was Draft & Write Records. The first flip and write I really got into. I'm still bad at it but I love it. Oh and I got a surprising win in River of Gold on BGA last month 😂 At the moment I'm trying to learn Chakra so expect a challenge soon-ish 😂 I really want to try Sausage Sizzle. I saw the footage from GenCon as well as Jamie and Jeff trying it and it looked like so much fun. This seems to be a really good filler game. Lairs has been on my list since I first saw it. I want to try it and see if it is for me but there has yet nit been a KTBG game that I didn't like. Middle Ages is great! I played it a few times on BGA and I had so much fun. It looks great and is easy to learn. I kind of was waiting for Critter Kitchen since it one of my most wanted games at the moment.

So glad you enjoyed the video! Thank you as always for watching and commenting! 😊 Draft & Write Records is SO GOOD!! It’s probably getting up there with one of my favourite verb & writes! 👏🏻 Yeah I’m so excited for Lairs! I have a feeling Francis will enjoy it as well! I definitely recommend Sausage Sizzle! It’s a fun little filler game for sure! I was actually going to mentioned both Critter Kitchen and Andromeda’s Edge because I played them in August and they are both FANTASTIC!! Can’t wait for Critter Kitchen to fulfill!

Happy to hear about Rebel Princess. I somehow got the very wrong impression you didn't care about it. Excited to try the 2 player Arnak campaign too 😮

Nooo Rebel Princess is amazing! The first time I played it I could already tell it was going to be up there with some of my favourite trick-taking games. 😊👍🏻 and yess! It’s been great so far. Hope you enjoy!!

My most played, favorite game of the month was A Feast for Odin. Such a great game!

Niceee! I’ve never actually played that one in person! Only on BGA and I don’t fully know what I’m doing most of the time. 😂 I need to actually get taught or learn it fully and play it in person for sure!

21:10 are you thinking of Snood (or bust a move/puzzle bobble)?.
@bdoerle18 күн бұрын
Puzzle Bobble was the first thing that came to my mind, but Snood does also fit as well.

I looked it up and it’s actually a game called Zuma!! But they all have similar gameplay in general. 👍🏻

Flip 7 is just a less interesting version of no mercy from the great Reiner knizia. Making one person the "dealer" doesn't make it different.

Lairs sounds really interesting! How do you know how to navigate in the lair - is it mostly luck based or is there a deduction element?
@TheBoardGameGarden18 күн бұрын
It’s a bit of both! So there are different cubes you use up each turn that allow you to move, peek into spaces without moving into them and a few other things. As you move or peek into spaces the other player tells you what is there and you can kind of deduce and assume what is coming by what the player is telling you.

It's great you have a photographic memory. I defanitely don't. I play Hanabi and they are like "These two cards are red" and by the next person's turn, i have already forgot what they just told me. 😂
@TheBoardGameGarden18 күн бұрын
Yeah it came in handy in school for sure. And Ahahaha! Oh noo. 😂 have you tried That’s Not A Hat? That one is a great test of memory!

It really annoys me when people get mad that someone is playing the game as it's meant to be played and it works against someone else. You have a good attitude about it :). It's just a game :). And how could anyone ever be angry at Meg :)?
@TheBoardGameGarden18 күн бұрын
Yeah, I don’t take games that seriously. It’s meant to be fun and if someone is doing well why get mad? Learn from what they are doing and root them on! And exactly! She is wonderful! 💕

Hey Jenna! Thanks so much for sharing your favorites from this past month. I got to attend the Dice Tower Retreat in Orlando at the end of the month, which meant a lot more new-to-me games than usual. My top 10 newcomers for the month would be: 10. River of Gold 9. Invincible: The Hero-Building Game 8. Link City 7. Creature Caravan 6. Windmill Valley 5. Santa Maria 4. Robot Quest Arena 3. Broom Service 2. Stationfall 1. Hegemony I'll have to add you on BGA and play a Burgundy match with you one of these days! Hope you have many memorable gaming experiences this September :)
