Hey friends! Just a quick rules clarification! In Birds On Birds, if you decide to place a second bird you must then choose which bird to score. Either the first bird or the second.

Hi Jenna, Roosting is when birds settle in a place to rest or sleep. Thanks for the preview!!

Love bird games and I think of adding Pebbles and Flock to my collection. Thanks for this preview of those lovely games.

When you said you gain points for every bird after drawing a vertical like downward, you subtracted points with your marker instead?

I wish that all publishers would consider color blind individuals when designing game mechanics. I think pebbles would be impossible for me to play. All they need to do is add a symbol along with color.

I'm not even color blind and just looking at Pebbles is appalling. The choice of colors and design is egregious and, honestly, insensitive or at least clueless . It made me think about how to better playtest games for color blind players. I am a neuroscientist, so I'm fully aware that color blindness is not monolithic, so I ask these questions with that in mind. Is there a BGG group or guild for color blind players? Is there some way to organize and reach out to game publishers to test for these issues? This is off the top of my head, so maybe this is already happening, but my impression is that most of the time this is not specifically part of the design process.

Here is my 10 words sentence: “Birds on birds looks like an animal upon animal clone.” Seriously… why copy a game and put less interesting shapes. Even the name is strikingly similar…
