This was a nice list Ali. For me, I’m a Nintendo person and I would say that pretty much any Mario game would be on there. There is just so much life in the world in each and every game. But there is another game that had a great impact on me. The Last of Us. Oh my gosh. I played it with a friend and I was blown away. The story is so meaningful and the characters were memorable

I just downloaded and played Journey for the first time, it was beautiful, some people I’ve seen mention a companion, I found one in one area, they didn’t move much, and they didn’t seem like they knew how to get to another area, I ended up leaving them there, but either way, the game was emotional, I and I loved it.

So i stopped playing videogames save for the rare one. I played Silent Hill 2 and it’s honestly one of the best video game stories I played, it’s an emotional tear jerker. The gameplay is a bit rough around the edges but it has to be like that. The soundtrack too. Man, it’s really something. Also get the Director’s Cut cause it has a sub scenario. I recommend it to everyone. Seriously.

I am going a bit different because i will go with genres: 1. Strategy: age of empires, starcraft, Command and Conquer ( i loved the missions and the real deal live actors in it) Some of them are still active to this day 2. RPG: Baldurs gate series, Red dead series, GTA, fallout series especially the earlier ones ( i love that post apocalyptic setting) SWTOR I+II, rogue trader Warhammer 40k and the pathfinder series 3. Action: First call of dutys upto MW3, tomb raider series, 4. Open world ( now some of the aforementioned already have this): ghost of tsushima, witcher 5. scyfy: Mass effect series ( last one less so but the legendary collection) 6. hack n slas: Diablo upto 3, Warhammer inquisitor 7. puzzles: puzzlequest and cuphead 8. MMO: star wars Old republic, excellent stories There are many i probably should have included but those are the ones that stuck with me the most.. so far, and off the top of my head

Tbh the thing i hate about Elden Ring is the PVP Every souls game has a decent PVP but not Elden Ring, the PVP is absolute dogshit. First, you NEED A SUMMON to even play and jugding Elden Ring is 60% players who never played Dark Souls they gank the living shit out of you (Im not saying other games didn't have ganks, ds3 still has but i barely see them anymore) and spam there stupid fucking bleed builds that make Malenia look like a fair boss. Not only that but i've rarely seen one bow, there mostly brainless bleed builds who never touched a woman besides Ranni which will probably never be sadly nerfed (if RoB was not nerfed then this comment would have been a whole book). Now with the adding of the Colloseum DLC, the pvp became *slightly* better but that still didn't make me stop playing ds3 and ds2 pvp.

@@TheAliKoca, I can understand that after having seen the video, and I respect your opinion on what you know in your heart and brain to be the greatest video games of all-time, based on what you have played during your life. However, having said that, if you're going to create a list of the greatest video games ever, you should look to the past as well, to see what video games paved the way for the games you listed. For example, I heard somewhere that, I think it was one of the Call Of Duty games, the developers of the series stated they were directly inspired by Pac-Man when creating the maze like atmosphere of the game.

Ori and the blind forest or Ori and the will of the wisps, those games are amazing, best traversal out of any video game ive played and the music is phenomenal. I liked will of the wisps better though

i think ali would love metal gear rising revengeance. It has fast paced combat and very fun bosses as well as some kickass music. I will say it is considerably easier than sekiro or elden ring

My personal number 1 is Castlevania Aria of sorrow a truly masterfully story told game with engaging everchanging gameplay with every area having something unique all though it can get difficult at points its relatively tame in hardness and the ending is PEAK fiction and I cry on replay their is about 4 endings

Yo ngl u should try out Nioh 2 and Ghost of Tsushima if u havent already,Basically Nioh 2 is a souls-like game although not made from Software about some half demon half human dude,and Ghost of Tsushima is about some 13th century Mongolian War thing but in both games they are both about Samurais,I liked the combat for Nioh 2 and how hard it was and how Ghost has really good graphics and a decent story line despite how short it was (for me) I hope u try these games out if u didnt cuz they are worth ur time.

For me my number 1 is Subnautica it is just so immersive and terrifying but beautiful at the same time, if you have not played it I would definitely do so
