I grew up with PC gaming exclusively, so most of these titles weren't even available to me back in the day. My top 50 would be vastly different, lol, it would mostly be made out of RTS, western RPG's and FPS, a.k.a traditionally PC genres. But in recent years I too discovered my love for fighting games and some JRPG's. I also gotta notice that back in the day, the platform you were using also kinda determined what genres of games you were playing. Nowadays we have every type on every platform.

I always enjoy these kinds of vids for that same insight because you can always usually tell if someone was either a big Console player, arcade or PC player, as well as the era. Like a little peak into what shaped their tastes. I never played much PC stuff when I was younger, it was way later in my life I really got into more PC stuff though the occasional CRPG and RTS I would play at a friend's. So I never got into a lot of thing like early age Blizzard or a lot of classics like BG 1-2 etc. Fighting Games I always enjoyed but sadly mutual friends weren't into them so was more when online lobbying in games became more widespread I could find likeminded players. Was a big console and handheld guy till later college shifting more towards PC. RPG and Action oriented type guy so a lot of the SquareSoft/Enix and Capcom studf overlaps, and a lot of Nintendo handheld stuff. Though sadly adult life makes it hard to get through the backlog of long runtime big commitment rpgs.

7 remake was the best game I’ve ever played and I can’t find anything that comes close despite trying. My only hope is rebirth at this point.

FF7 Remake isn't even complete, how is it the best at anything? 🤣🤣🤣
@cynicalidealist117 ай бұрын
@@luizkorynga That’s incredibly stupid. 7 remake is a complete game in the same way that fellowship of the ring is complete movie.

@@sarriominski3756 As I said, I’ve found nothing even close to it despite trying, but I’m open to more suggestions. For now it’s the absolute best as far as I’m concerned.

I forgot about Gunblade NY/LA Machineguns. I barely played it in the arcade, but fortunately I played it more on the Wii with the gun accessories. Crazy how that game was going for around $100 last year, but currently it dropped to around $70 (which is still kinda high).

Watching Max playing Split/Second for 4/5 hours made me wanna fix up my Xbox just to play it again

I wish I had been able to spend more time in arcades as a kid in the late 90s/early 2000s. Obviously my own personal best games list is completely different, but I can't help wonder since we've seen a lot of yovg streams where Max and the doods enjoy revisiting a bunch of arcade classics.

I didn't know that Max was a Sega Saturn guy! I was only kid in middle school that had one 😂. I actually STILL have it and boot up some games every now and then.

That is such a wild taste in games. Max and I are practically the same age but I missed so many titles, but I wasn't at the arcades as heavily either. When I got that gameboy and Pokemon, shiiit. I'm surprised there was no Pokemon on his list or any Tales game.
