Dean and Sam. These two guys deserve the world. Their bond, their love for each other. It's what this show is based on. No matter what happens, it always falls back on their brotherhood. They have gone through a lot, independently and together. And no matter what, they were always there for each other in some way.. Whether they were fighting right by each others side, or whether it was a simple hug after a long, hard day. You can always feel the love between them. When this show ends next year, I will be most probably be devestated. But I will hold this show in my heart forever. This show has taught me a lot. But for me the most important message has been that family is everything. It doesn't matter if it's family by blood or family by friendship. They will be there for you, and they will care for you. Just like you will for them.
This video is a top 10 of my favorite heartbreaking moments between Dean and Sam. They have had so many moments on the show. But there are a few that were so heartbreaking I could cry. These are the moments I will rememeber for years.

Season 8 finale always hit me deep. That line “Don’t you dare think that there is anything, past or present, that I would put in front of you” hits me because that’s something similar that I’ve said to my significant other after a disagreement. That is something you only say to one person. Whether it’s your lover or or best friend or your brother, everyone has a partner who they would do anything and everything for. That line and the emotional in the delivery hits me so deep. Every single time.

#1 has to be the right pick. Mainly because Sam changes and becomes more emotionally supportive to Dean after season 8. He starts looking up to Dean more and actually steps up to Dean on an emotional level Dean becomes more suicidal after Season 8 and this time Sam takes the role to protect Dean from harm List is Well articulated

This is the reason the show is still going strong. So Im a little dissapointed that season 15 still hasnt got that much touchy brotherly moments.. Just a few small ones but not like the earlier seasons.. And we are already halfway into season 15. Its a GOOD season, but.. Its not enough focus on Sam and Dean..

Oh god.. no matter how many time i watch, the scene when sam died the first time always makes me cry 😭. When dean first saw sammy feeling happy that his brother is alright and a second later have to watch his own brother got stab in front of him and he cant stop it, and then the way he first got to sam assuring him telling him that he was okay that he will patch him up, but second later he feels the lot of blood from sammy back, feeling that it is serious, to the point he have to face that sam is dying. And next he feel desperate cause sammy is probably dead for real, and feeling completely devastated crying for sammy, and move on to the point that he is angry with everything even god cause ha cant save sam. And just hug his little brother for the last time. God this is gold..this is the best scene. Dean when through stages of griev in the matter of second :""""") this is so heartbreaking and a really good acting by jensen. I hope we got to see this emotional scene like this in seaspn 15 sjnce its the last

Dean and Sam...I relate to them in different ways. Sam because I've always felt like the outsider, like I could never live up to my family's expectations or what they wanted for me. Dean because I'm the oldest, and I have to take of my Sams, all 7 of them. Cause that's my job, right? Gotta watch out for my pain in the ass siblings, that's my job. My parents can go to hell. My siblings are the only family I care about. No matter how many fights I've been with my siblings and the fights to come, I will be there. I'm the oldest. I have to protect my siblings that's my job. I will do anything for them. I love them. But family doesn't end in blood and i have friends that I take care of as well. I'll go down fighting, I'll go through hell and back to save them so help me. I love them all...I just don't have time to break down and deal with my emotions

Another good one is the ending scene to the episode with the girl sam liked who got bit by a werewolf and sam had to put her down. I think it was called bitten or heart. But yeah that scene where sam is full of tears and dean just stands back and watches as a tear falls down his face 😭😭

I've been watching buddy movies and buddy tv shows forever. And I'm sure I'm a lot older than most of you. But, I have never experienced a show so filled with hope, love, humor and a lot of scary stuff. And a bond as deep as Sam and Dean have. Yeah #s 1, 2 and 6 and since I’m posting this after the show ended, include Carry On too. But I want to point how Prophet and Loss hits me so hard. Before I learn how difficult it was to Jared pulling that scene it captivates me how parallel his frustration is with Dean just bailing out with that one card to defeat Michael. I said parallel because Jared was at that time so frustrated of himself as well because of his depression. The scene was so raw with Jensen I didn’t realize what was actually going on at the same time in their real lives. Plus the music from that scene man, c’mon. If you think of it, after Dean said “okay Sam” and goes on saying he’ll keep on believing until there’s absolutely no more option left, that Sam will have to face that fact and accept of letting Dean go. And it comes to full circle when Carry On happened. Yeah that scene too made me bawled so hard. I kept on playing that scene and it reminded me of how much pent up frustration one can have for someone they love so much but that one person in their life can’t love their self as well. That they’ll choose to give up, resign to that idea that they don’t have that high of opinion of themselves. Recall what Bobby said when Dean first made a demon deal to resurrect Sam? Yeah Dean is like that and I think Sam developed emotionally so much after that #1 in this vid’s list (yeah that scene broke my heart so much too!). Honestly their brotherly relationship is so beautiful but suffocating as well. Ugh, the feels man. This show.

I have several others that make me cry every single (dozens of) times I have watched them. They aren't all between Sam and Dean, but some hit almost harder: like "Heart" where Sam fell for Madison, a werewolf and she begged him to kill her (and with his tears and the song Silent Lucidity playing almost crushed me!!) "All Hell Breaks Loose"--which is in this list; "No Rest for the Wicked: where Sam has to watch his brother being torn apart by hellhounds, and Sam's devastated tears always make me cry) "Heaven and Hell"--where Dean admits to Sam what he did in Hell and how he wishes he couldn't feel anything anymore (how he made himself feel and cry so realistically was amazing, and heart-breaking).. ":Regarding Dean"--altho it is slightly light-hearted in the beginning, toward the end, when Dean is looking in the mirror trying to remember his name--and that song they play at the very end when he's riding the bull tugged my heart strings ."Goodbye Stranger"--where Cas has been brainwashed and nearly kills Dean over the angel tablet, and only Dean's words, telling him they're family, breaks the trance. Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head, although I'm sure there are more, but those specific episodes hit me *hard* every time. Oh, and I don't know the name of the episode, but when Charlie is murdered by the Steins. Again, not all of these are Sam and Dean, but they are certainly tear-jerkers. Only these actors could make you feel so deeply for their characters and the sacrifices they make for each other.
