Today I'm going to dive into my Top 10 Pokemon to keep an eye on and get ready for the New Season of Great League for GO Battle League. So many move updates have happened in Pokemon GO and the Great League Meta has completely shifted. This is just a short list of what looks to be strong and very fun to use, so let me know what you think!

@@omarholder9036 a buffed fairy wind isn’t gonna carry it to being a staple, omar. Sure it’ll keep gastrodon in check (which won’t be as common as you think) but outside of that, it gets blasted by gator, azu, charga, clod, talon, mandi, dunsparce. lol!

​​​both forms of jumpluff beat gator on the 1 shield. Both forms beat azu. Regular jumpluff beats charja, shadow beats mandibuzz. Ofc a grass type loses to talon so idk what ur point is there. The losses to dunsparce are only in the low 400s. Shadow loses with 461 rating. It's definitley not going to be bad. Not to mention shit is bulky and can slightly get XL, will be good in neutral matchups.

This is why I don't transfer ANY pokes with good PVP ivs. You just never know when the meta will shift.

I’m so stoked for this new update man. I have a rank #1 shadow Gatr, Clod and eastern Gast. I have a really good Clefable, Wiggly, DunBoiii and shadow Machamp too. I NEVER have EVER deleted PvP good IV mons (despite the meta being constant for YEARS) and all my friends were like “its never gonna be good” Its about to pay off lmaoooo LETS GOOO.

I have a #1 Malamar. When I catch pokemon, #1 PvP rated IV’s are 100#’s to me lol. I keep every one that I find and this kind of buff is why. Keep all your good PvP IV pokemon. Because you never know.

Built a Rank 79 Shadow Machamp a while ago. Then caught a Rank 40 shadow machamp. Now ima build the 40 with the 2 elite TMs and leave the 79 alone in case there's ever any future changes on moves.

On Malamar, not sure why Psywave would be better in general over Psycho Cut, except for dmg output. PC generating energy so much faster. Is it because Psywave will be sort of Dragon Breath clone? Also, glad to see you back in the game Z!

I got a rank 400 Machamp Shadow for the Great League, so I used both Elite TM's on it to get the correct moveset. Literally the next day I catch a rank 11(!) Machamp Shadow for Great League lol. Guess I am saving that one for Payback.

I started playing october 2022, I got medicham with a lucky trade 12/15/15, the same went for carbink, it took me less than a month, because I built a 12/15/15 again, 88xls and by trading and transfering I got 60+. I attended no payed event, I never spend any money, but I grind hard as hell

I’m loving the new season and it ain’t even here yet! My only issue is I don’t have a drapion I’d be comfortable investing in. I’ve got like 3 that I need to power up for ultra league but every time I find one with pvp ivs it’s too big for great league. 🙄

I have a search for pvp ivs before i do my weekly transfer.. and a bad habit of getting rid of low ranking pokemon.. it has bit me a few times, now. Looking forward to this season! Ive got a dunsparce and gastrodon ready to roll. I had a feraligatr and clodsire with good IV but ended up getting rid of them.

When did Machamp get stone edge and would it be worth using an ETM? I know rock slide is getting nerfed, but is the difference between the two moves massive enough to justify the ETM? The Community Day was payback, if I'm not mistaken, so even if we get a Community Day Classic, that won't get us stone edge.

​@nathancory7278 yeah, seems like azu is the best parter for hypno. And they're both pretty bulky. Hypno covers azu well, with confusion hitting poison for SE and if you choose to run ice or fire punch, cover those grasses. I'd probably go ice punch/TP and skip shadow ball. Seems like ice and electric is a great combo especially for shadow hypno

My in game name is HippityHoppip. Im glad jumpluff will be nice. Also just finished my carbink literally just now so im glad i will get to use it this season. The mud slap buff is scary along with gators everywhere, but the lack of skarmory means carbink can do its job as an anti flier with an option to nuke fighters. I think not grinding these carbink spawns that have been common the last couple of months wouldve been a mistake. That rock event before go fest, then go fest, then the pvp event and they're still spawning wild now, how can I not build it haha
