I really want that Allister mask, too :') I have never got past the rank 20 and the prospect of ELO and stuff is intimidating. I'm going to try my best, obviously, and I know it comes down to skill and luck but, are there any strategies for how to increase my chances?

Two things, start count opponents fast moves, be lucky on opponents typing and rps

When I used to push for Legend, I would watch Twitch streamers daily to see what teams other players were running before I did my battles. Also, counting fast moves is extremely important; it can make the difference in flipping a bad matchup once you get more experienced with proper timing.

you had to do the evolution during the event it might be in shadow raids in future but niantic like putting worthless shadow wobbuffet in those taking up a possible spot

The only way I remember was if you had a Shadow Cubone and evolved it during a special event to get a Shadow Alolan Marowak.

Idk it's fun. I don't mind fast glassy Pokemon being OP. The problem is when bulky Pokemon are OP it's just not fun. Shadow Feraligator gets melted by pretty much everything.
