My Top 10 Questions on Impossible...with Rick Edwards - Series 7, BBC1

As a freelance, you spend much of your working life trying to generate work, but the best jobs are usually when the phone rings out of the blue. This happened to me in 2018 when Hugh Rycroft, who I had known since we both worked at Talkback, rang me up and asked if I'd be interested in writing questions about sport and music for an app they were doing based round the quiz show Impossible!. I of course said 'yes'. Had I realised that his company Mighty Productions was behind Impossible!, and that it had been running for six series, I might have contacted him first - and a lot earlier.
Hugh subsequently asked me to write for the 7th series and then the 8th, after which - with a change of personnel at the BBC - the show was at first furloughed (the appropriate word, given it was around the time of Covid), and eventually cancelled, despite being the most successful daytime quiz in terms of audience and popularity.
With my newly acquired video editing skills, if they can be called that, I have put together a Top 10 of my favourite questions from those I wrote for series 7. This is mainly a marketing exercise for me to put on Talent Manager and LinkedIn rather than an act of ego, I promise.
One of the questions has had to be deleted for random copyright reasons, so it's actually a Top 9.
