I’m surprised by the pach store as well I have a fubuki from them and although I am new to the saber world, it is also my favorite thus far, low price complete package, surprisingly sturdy and with the string blade also nice and bright. Downside of the string blade though is it throws off the choke point for balance about a half inch into the blade but still a nice flow saber most impressive.

I’ll be honest- the first time I saw one of your videos, I thought: “Jesus... why..? Why would you want so many of those?..” And then... I got one. And another. And.. another... And just now, put in a kyberlight order with the cataclysm (Malgus emitter) and the red guard pack. What can I say? You sold me on the red guard look ;-) (I’ll be doing some repainting/faux finish work, but nevertheless- great design.) Do you know if there is much difference between v3 and v4? I have seen your v3 review. Haven’t been able to find any reviews on the v4. None at the level you provide, at least. Not even close.

It can get addictive. As for the V4, the only difference between the V3 and V4 as I understand it is that the V4 is a bit louder. I deemed it not to be enough to warrant an update.

Great vid, my first (and only) saber so far was also an ultrasaber, a dominix v1 back when they were still making them out of pvc with a urethane slip-on pommel, I forgot about it and it ended up sideways for a number of years and now it has about a 10 degree bow to it, completely unusable lol. I want to get back into it doing some dual wielding flow art occasional dueling type stuff and currently the Torrent is my first pick, but hearing your opinion on the Nihilus has me wanting to research more. Which do you think would be a better pick? Who makes a good Nihilus these days?

I have not. I saw the kickstarter and was a bit turned off by the price. Have not seen any on the market since. I contacted them at one point and am open to doing a review, but I never heard back.

Yeah, as I recall they are a little pricey. They look nicely shaped and balanced for flow art. It's a shame they didn't answer back, I would like to have seen one of your no b.s. reviews on them.

Doubtful. Pach Store is less than helpful when I talk to them about reviews. I tend to only review the sabers from them that I am personally passionate about. The Lord is not one of those designs. I won’t say it won’t happen, but it is unlikely. If you mention to them on social media that you would like to see a review by me, it might be a bit more so.

I had noticed that. That was why i reached out. If i recall, I was even just asking about a review and return, but I never heard back. It is possible that they are happy with the reviews they have and not looking for more. Their hilt designs are not exactly my cup of tea, so I am unlikely to go out and grab one, but I have been keeping my eyes open in the wild in case one crossed my path. I have been asked for a review of one on a few different occasions.
